If Black Widow wasn't a Marvel movie, y'all would be blasting it

Two girls in a gun and knife fight, pretending to try and kill one another, destroying the house, just to end with them saying "good to see you sister." Check
Multiple girls kicking every man's arse they come in contact with. Check
Female villain. Check
TERRIBLE Russian accents. Check
It checks all the boxes of a movie the M/TV board would hate. BUT, it's Marvel.
If this wasn't Marvel it would just be a another Hanna, Salt, Anna and Lucy movie that nobody cares for. But with this, the majority of the people have the "that actually looks pretty good" opinion and are excited to see it.
I'll go ahead and downvote myself.

This is the what Natasha did in the final moments of her life with her last Pym Particle(traveling to get more) and erasing the “red in her ledger”
Then hopping back in to the OG timeline to sacrifice herself for the universe.

Honest question bc i'm not familiar with the origin story. She is full blown Russian right? Shouldnt she have a Russian accent? Or was she raised in the States her whole life so she talks differently from her families thick Russian accent?

If that's the case, I'm thinking she unleashed another version of herself without the others knowing. There is no way they killed off the Taskmaster off-screen and without people learning it was Taskmaster. I doubt that's the case, though.

Edited. I meant that those were movies nobody no guy actually wanted to see or thought looked good.
I'm not singling out my buddy but the other day he mentioned that he was pretty excited to see this one. You go back to the original trailer release thread and almost everybody in there thought it looked good and were pumped about seeing it.

She was a trained spy from an early age. She was basically raised to be a sleeper agent, so it's very likely they would have worked hard to eliminate her accent. Also, remember that she had a lot of memory reprogramming through the years, so they could have worked on her accent the same way.

I haven't seen this pushed as some girl power anthem yet. Once the SJW knighting heats up, I don't think people will care if this is in the MCU.
Not like people on here praised Brie and Captain Marvel so your MCU angle is pure bullshite.
At the end of the day, if it isn't marketed by a SJW clown and the script is good, people will like the movie.
If it is garbage, people on here won't care about the ties to the MCU. The movie will be vilified and the folks involved with the movie will say it was fantastic but old white men just could get over themselves.

I don't want to live in a world in which we do not appreciate the super cool vibe of Atomic Blonde or the go for broke insane fun of Lucy. I love both of those movies. Atomic Blonde especially has style to burn. It's from the same team that made John Wick, and I think it's the superior film, which is some high praise because John Wick is amazing.

It’s a great movie if you love jump cuts and men not just stepping out of the way while she flings her defenseless body at them while trying to wrap her legs around their necks.
