Thanks to the board!

Grew up on the original Star Wars trilogy. Didn’t care for the prequels and sequels. Liked Rogue One but none of the other spin-off movies. Liked Season 1 of The Mandolorian but nothing else on Disney +

All that to say Andor is one of the better series on television period. Really well done

It’s a great show and introduced some alltime Star Wars characters. It also made the Empire truly terrifying again.

Andor was an Awesome series. Wish they had released it before the movie Rogue One.

I wonder what impact it would’ve had if it had gotten the full 5 seasons Gilroy was initially promised? Replace so much of the crap shows D+ had put out with a bunch of Andor and where would the Star Wars universe be right now?

Go back and watch Rogue One with post-Andor knowledge.

It's a totally different movie, and you'll love it even more, I guarantee.

Its a must watch.

Forget the Star Wars aspect, watch it if you like a really good spy/political thriller.

Its a great show that just happens to take place in the Star Wars Universe.

Its normal people trying to get out of the chokehold of tyranny.

As I commented in the other thread…

Season 1 makes you absolutely HATE the empire. I wanted them all dead.

I’m starting season 2 tonight. Really looking forward to rewatching Rogue One soon after with the new updated knowledge.

I’m late but about halfway through season 2. Fantastic show so far. It really shows how hard it was to be a rebel and how menacing and in control the empire was. Season 2 is showing the empire had much more control and were less bumbling idiots than in the movies

Started it last night and watched three episodes. Would have watched four if it hadn't been nearly 2 am.

Yeah, it really emphasizes the effort/skill required to overcome the empire as well.

Best part about it, makes the empire menacing.

Even makes TIE fighters scary during the Aldheni heist.

I finished season 2 late Thursday night. Watched Rogue One (2016), which I'd never seen before. last night because Disney suggested it. When I saw Diego Luna's Cassian Andor was in it, I had to give it a chance. I knew what Andor was a prequel to when I saw that.

Thought Rogue One was a good watch. A lot of the reason why I enjoyed it came from watching the Andor series. I knew what was going on, and who most of the people in Rogue One were. I'm glad I never saw Rogue One before watching Andor.
