But one thing, of few, I think they got right was the Yoda scene. I don't think, contrary to many, it was forced. It felt genuine, and it really was a heartwarming moment. And while it was pretty ridiculous he could summon lightning dead, I think him making the decision to burn the Jedi remains was very symbolic.

I’d say it was pretty symbolic alright.

Since Yoda was 30% ghost, (because the movie wouldn't play in China if there were ghosts) and can summon lighting like that. Why doesn't he just lightning a bunch of shite?

So Yoda can interact with the physical world now? He's basically not dead anymore if he doesn't want to be?

And when did the force ghosts ever summon lightning or interact with the physical world before?

well, tbf, only 4 people have become force ghosts, right?

Just Qui Gon, Obi Wan, Yoda, and Anakin

Yoda is the wisest and most powerful and with 30 years or so of being a ghost...who the frick knows what he could accomplish.

Indeed.

Especially as he already knew that Rey had stolen them already.

Considering that the first one who learned to interact with the physical world was Qui-Gon, who knows.

Throw in Yoda's raw power, who knows what he could learn to do with years of training.

Especially at a Jedi center of power that is close to the Force.

I didn’t notice the books on the Falcon until I watched it a second time.

Add Luke into that mix. Luke was able to do this while still alive. And seeing that he handed Leia the dice and she seemed to feel them in her hand, he can interact with the physical world too.

If Luke can project to another planet while still carnate, he definitely should be able to manifest now that he's 'all Force'.

IIR, Qui Gon was stil working on it when he died, so he did not become “one with the force” and hence, no force ghost.

He sure is a stupid a-hole for letting all the resistance people die when he could just lightening that dreadnaught or Hux's ship or the battering ram thing or the entirety of any battles in return of the Jedi.....
