I liked Infinity War better than Endgame

Nothing against Endgame, IW just happens to be one of my favorite all-time movies. I think Thanos' gathering (and ultimately his using of)the stones is simply more compelling than the Avengers' quest to undo The Snap.

Have an upvote. I agree. Infinity Wars was incredible.

So did I.
Thanos going full cliche villain in Endgame was disappointing.
I still loved Endgame tho.
Infinity War is a better movie and Thanos is infinitely better in it.

Nothing in Infinity War tops Cap saying "Avengers...assemble!" in the climax of Endgame

Agreed. I thought Endgame was inferior to IW. It was an average film, IMO.

Idk man, Thor landing in Wakanda was preeeeeeeeeeetty badass.
Both great movies, but I agree. I enjoyed IW a lot more. The only "slow" part in IW was when they first jump to Vision and Wanda.

Structurally, IW is much stronger than EG.
I like IW more, but they're both very good movies.

I greatly preferred Endgame, tbh.

I liked how Endgame made the Hulk a boring nerd. That was cool.

IW was leagues better than Endgame in my opinion

Yes 100% agree with this take.

The finality of Endgame keeps it from being in the Top 5 of the MCU for me. There was a theme of "conclusion" running through the whole movie that lowers its re-watchability to me. I like superhero movies where the heroes are in their prime and at the peak of their powers - just off having another one of their adventures, with more to come.

Empire Strikes Back was better than Return of the Jedi.
It happens.
It happens.

The cavalry coming to the rescue elevates every film.

I went back and forth for which I liked better and came to a conclusion:
IW was a better movie for action and pacing
Endgame was way more emotionally driven.
One day I'll watch them consecutively and maybe that'll tip the scale

I liken Endgame to the last installment of a great trilogy or a tv series finale.
IMO, there's never been a more satisfying finale/installment. It's a perfect love-letter to what made the MCU special over the past decade or so.
LOTR 3, Indiana Jones/the Last Crusade, and the Breaking Bad finale are strong contenders, but Endgame left me completely satisfied with the way they finished cherished character arc's.

Idknif anything can match my pure joy I saw When I first saw the original Avengers
It was a culmination of an incredibly fun well made amazing movie and this unbridled relief that it worked.
I smiled uncontrolably Through a 2 plus hour movie.
Not really on topic but somewhat relevant
