With the exception of Birdman every best picture winner since 2013 has been anti-white, anti-Christian, anti-heterosexual, anti-military and/or anti-capitalist

Moonlight being about a gay black kid doesn't make it anti-white or anti-heterosexual. You're using stupid language here.

Same goes for the other movies you're lumping in: Spotlight, 12 Years a Slave, and The Shape of Water (the bad guy works for the fantasy government, are you kidding). Bong isn't anti-capitalist, he's anti-wealth gap created by his country's reckless application of it. I'm guessing you don't think there is a difference.

And Green Book might be the most pro-white movie I've seen in a decade.

Just finished Parasite. It was really good! Haven't seen 1917 yet.

Have you seen many Korean movies?
Just Old Boy. Which I loved.

I didn’t need a happy ending per se. I just would’ve liked for some growth. Some sort of redemption. There’s a hint at it from the son.

No, dude, it's not. It's anti- one specific thing in one specific that happened/is happening in one specific denomination, and it deals with the characters' mixed feelings about reporting it, since they are all active members of that denomination. Addressing a topic does not make something automatically against that topic.

WTF are you talking about? Are you claiming some sort of Harry Potter style "magic is anti-christian" crap? You have definitely not seen this utterly benign nothing of a film. It's a fantasy. The military presented has nothing to do with any country's, especially the US's, military. And a movie featuring one old gay guy doesn't make it anti-hetero. What are you so scared of?

Dare Hollywood to make a child rape movie involving Muslims. Hell, Parasite had pedophilia and no one batted an eye.

Bestiality is anti-Christian. And the movie is tree hugging and absolutely anti-military.

This was a totally unmemorable year for movies. When I’m searching through IMDB I am already saddened at what is presented in the 2019 column.

I haven't seen 1917 so I can't comment on it. Between Parasite and Joker, I thought that Parasite was a better film and much more entertaining. I didn't see any nefarious anti-white message in it because it doesn't exist. There's no anti-western, anti-capitalist message to it either. If anything, it takes shots at both rich and poor. It was a fun, quirky dark comedy that kind of straddled multiple genres, had interesting cultural elements and mild social commentary. Lastly, Joker was a mostly lousy movie, Parasite deserved best picture.

Oh, for God's sake. No, it didn't. It showed the son(who was presumed to be college aged) hooking up with the girl he was tutoring that I assumed was nearing the end of high school. Not only is that not pedophilia, that happens all the time and is socially acceptable.

I really don't understand how someone like you could enjoy movies at all, if it takes this little to make you upset.

I'm guessing he doesn't. I'm also guessing he doesn't watch these movies he's incorrectly assessing.

I’ve seen both and very much enjoyed them but for me it’s

1. Jojo rabbit
2. 1917
3. parasite

It's a true story about child rape and child rape cover up. Christianity had nothing to do with it.

Now you're just trolling.
