Movie on Netflix. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The kid steals the movie. He's really funny. It's a 2016 movie directed by Taika Waititi. Also stars Sam Neill. Give it a watch sometime. I think most will enjoy it.

It was really good.

Taika is like a less color dependant Wes Anderson.

Honestly I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every one of his movies.

He made the Thor franchise accessible and he’s getting a Star Wars stand alone project

Another one that is off the radar is Eagle vs. Shark which is worth a watch if you are into Taika Waititi's stuff. It's from 2007 so pretty low budget, but it's got Jermaine Clement and has a Napoleon Dynamite set in New Zealand vibe.

I need to find a way to watch What We Do In the Shadows? I actually recorded it at one point, but our cable box shat the bed a few days later.

I don't think it's possible to dislike Hunt for the Wilderpeople. Taikka is probably one of 3 directors whose movies I will always make a point to see.

No animals were harmed in the making of this movie.

Ricky: I'll never stop running!
Paula: Yeah, and I'll never stop chasing you. I'm relentless, I'm like the Terminator.
Ricky: I'm more like the Terminator than you!
Paula: I said it first. You're more like Sarah Connor.
Ricky: No I'm not!
Paula: Yes and in the first movie too, before she could do chin-ups
