How underrated is Zombieland?

Watched it on Netflix last night, you rarely hear how great this movie is.
Best title sequence, best cameo ever, Woody Harrelson playing every role he's ever had in one character, great visuals especially when things are being smashed or bloodied.
I forgot how much I truly love this movie.

Nah, it's not underrated at all. People love that movie.

I downvoted you because Zombieland is not underrated at all. It's a well loved movie that deserves all the praise it gets.
I'm gonna watch it tonight now, thanks!

It's a good movie... almost as good as twinkies. Those delicious yellow spongy bastards

Michael Cera was great in this

If you want to talk about a zombie comedy that is underrated, let’s talk about Mayhem. That’s a great movie not a lot of people know about.

Yeah where do you get this? its pretty highly rated, and appropriately so.

I remember swearing to god it was Michael Cera in the trailer only to go see the movie and think to myself “who the frick is this Jesse Eisenberg guy”? It’s a great movie with great performances. Also introduced me to Woody Harrelson.

We are finally getting a sequel later this year as well.

Zombieland was the movie that introduced you to Woody Harrelson. Do you even White Men Cant Jump?

It’s so good I think it’s a tragedy it wasn’t picked up by HBO. The movie is actually the first 3 episodes (with some liberties like Bill Murray) of a 10 episode miniseries.
Even more tragic they’ve waited this long to make a sequel since they at least had something to go off of. The celebrity cameo in the next one I think is a no-brainer for a zombie movie: Mel Gibson. Have him go full Mad Max/Braveheart leading a group of human cannibals. If I’d bet on celebrities surviving a zombie apocalypse, Mel Gibson would be very high on that list.

I’m pretty sure that came out when I was an infant. It’s on my list of movies to see and I know it’s supposed to be a classic. Just haven’t gotten around to it.

Loved Woody, hated the lead guy

Just watched it and fired up the search bar, pleasantly surprised to find a thread from this month. Fantastic movie. Eisenberg somehow ends up in the best movies. Social Network, Adventureland, and now Zombieland are all in my top 100.

Underrated? It’s a massive cult c.assic that’s finally getting a sequel. This October. With the original cast.
