How much do RT scores impact your decision to watch a film?

It’s hard to gauge. I’ve watched films that RT gives fresh scores to that I found boring and I’ve seen movies that I enjoyed immsnely that RT panned. Audience scores by far seem to be more accurate than the critics though obviously.

IMDb scores and others are just not as influential as RT is.

0%. If a movie looks good and the plot sounds intriguing then I’m going to see it regardless of what critics say. If it’s another superhero, look at all the explosions, so substance but great CGI blockbuster with great reviews, I’m still not going to see it.

Doesn't impact me at all. If I'm interested in the film, I'm going regardless of reviews. Movie critics are a joke anyways.

This. The only thing it may do is delay me watching it, or make it a Netflix/rental wait.

I have no problem watching terrible looking films if I just want to watch it.

The Popcorn tastes just as good no matter the RT score of the movie I’m watching.

The critics scores, not at all.

The audience scores I might factor depending on how badly I want to see it. Anything below 50 though and I'm probably going to pass.

Watch, not so much.

But to actually go to the cinema and pay a lot of money, quite a bit.

Somewhat, but I look more at the average score than the RT percentage score

Also depends on the type of movie. If it’s a comedy I don’t even look at it

Worth considering for small films but often of no value for commercial movies with major studio muscle.

Not much really. I like to either see a RT score before or after seeing a movie and comparing it to what I thought. A 91% for TLJ is a joke but a 92% for Thor: Ragnarok was spot on.

People do know it’s not a grade on how good the movie is, right?

Assuming this was targeted at me, yes I know it's not a grade of how good a movie is.

I usually like metacritic better. It all depends on a lot of things though.

I basically won’t watch a film with poor RT ratings.
