Bluey +Disney catalogue keeps a lot of kids on the platform

As much as it pains people to hear it, the parks still print money for the company. Disneyworld alone makes over $1 million per day on their pay to skip the line add on. The parks allow the company to make so many stupid decisions and not feel the pain.

That must be a window before Andor and after Loki 2. Surprised that Skeleton Crew didn’t make the cut.

Thinking about, we watch more series on probably every other service besides Disney.

Well for Q1, they beat forecasts by a 5% rise in revenue to 27B, and beat income before taxes by 3.7B

Stock is now at a 3 year high

Disney owns over 200 companies so they can very easily move money around to compensate for a monetary loss of another

Their original programming is lacking but I have a 3 year old and we watch a Disney movie every day on the platform.
She also loves Spidey and his amazing friends.

Are you unfamiliar with children? Disney doesn't need new shows.
Kids will watch the same movie over and over ad nauseum.

There is a difference between Disney+ original content and Disney Original content.

All their movies, all their Disney Channel Shows and Bluey don’t count

Disney probably could have made a streaming service pretty lean of just their back catalog and new releases coming out of theatre that would have made money.

Idk why they felt the need to hammer original content.

I just wish we could hide certain shows/channels. Gets annoying have to routinely go to one of those Ryan or Diana shows, jump to the last episode and FF to the end so it comes off of the front screen and my kids forget about it.

We get Disney+ free through our Verizon account.

Thats the new plans, the old "Play More" plan lets you have the Disney+/ESPN+/Hulu bundle for free as long as you keep the plan. I believe I have had these platforms for free for 4-5 years now

Free subscriptions with phone plans ending likely accounts for a huge part of the subs losses.

We keep a phone on a plan because it has had free Disney+. (ESPN,Hulu, Disney)

One phone has free Apple Music.
One has free discovery+

I probably wouldn’t pay for any if we lost the freebies.
