How do you think Cameron Frye's "chat" with his dad went?

After Ferris offers to take the blame for the Ferrari GT California getting "killed," Cameron declines and says he will have a "little chat" with his dad.
Music swells. And that's the last we see of Cameron.
....Cameron's father murdered him when he got home, didn't he?

He was likely beaten to death and his dad paid off the jury to get away with it.
Then Ferris and Sloan have sex on his gravesite.

Spin-off question on another emotionally troubled youth in a John Hughes movie who continues a cycle of manipulation from his peers.
Brian, from The Breakfast Club, doesn't get either girl, and the group forces him to write the lone essay they leave for Vernon.
Vernon told them they all had to write an essay. They should all stick their butts in their seats and write them. (Bender might get away with not doing it since he has detention for the rest of his natural life.)

His dad might have had him arrested or sent to a mental ward.
I assume it did not go well at all.
And then there is the theory that Ferris is a complete figment of Cameron's imagination and didn't actually exist, so yeah, committed.

Which he 100% needs. Cameron is fricking nuts.

If you go with the theory that Cameron was really sick, and the whole day was his feverish dream, nothing likely happened to the Ferrari.
Not that I necessarily ascribe to that theory, but at least we know he doesn't get murdered that way.
Fun Bunch beat me to it.

Insurance money from the Ferrari paid for private boarding school

It's this idea that always had me wanting them to revisit this story back around 2006 or so...say 20 years later.
They completely changed Cameron's life that day. Not only did that actually get him to live a little, something they had apparently been unable to do their entire friendship with him, but destroying the car and having to confront his Dad was going to be a life altering moment.
I had always imagined a sequel where they did drift apart pretty quickly after high school. Ferris ended up getting some job he thought was going to be great, but ended up being a road to the middle and he was living some middle class boring life with a wife that he could barely tolerate and kids who were uninteresting too. Cameron did not take the corporate route and after 20 years of running around doing odds and ends but being happy, he looks up Ferris and steals him away for a day to try and give to him what Ferris once gave to Cameron.
Or something...

After my freshman year, I went to summer school at an Episcopal boarding school to make up my low grade in Algebra. Was one, of two, in a class of around a dozen, who made an A. The school brought in Catholic nuns to teach the advanced math classes, so it wasn't an easy, or fun, summer.
After that, several of my friends told me their parents threatened to send them off to a boarding school like my parents did. I always thought that was funny because I knew other guys who's parents threatened sending their sons to military school. One of them had a dad who's parents had sent him to one, so he knew it was a valid threat.

Sloane could've been that wife he couldn't tolerate.

A few years after the events of Ferris, Cam went out to LA and got stuck on a hijacked city bus. He then went off the grid in New Mexico, only to re-emerge when his siblings started fighting over their dad’s Murdoch-like media empire. He’s now thinking of running for President.

He went to college and she was still in high school. She was a junior, remember? Those don't tend to last.
He met some prissy girl in college that was more domineering than he was, and she clipped his wings and forced him to come work for her Dad' business.

Ferris is Tyler Durden. Everything Cameron wanted to be but couldn't.
Otherwise, why would someone like Ferris be friends with Cameron?
If Ferris is real, it makes no sense. Cameron is the complete opposite of Ferris in spirit and attitude and drags Ferris down.

BTW, one of the replica Ferraris sold for $400,000 this year at Auction. They made 3 for the film and the other one (that wasn't destroyed) also sold for around that.
