As with most woke tv shows now the black men are emasculated. The Sea Snake gets his relevance from being married to the “rightful Queen” and takes his orders from her. His son is a puff of course and will be run over by his wife but the daughter will be strong willed and steer Deamon politically once they’re together. It’s fricking pathetic, this show has one character now and people are watching an hour of tv for 5 minutes of entertainment.

As with most people that think EVERYTHING is woke, they are so blinded about being mad about woke stuff they fail to grasp the point of the show/characters they're watching. There probably isn't a single black person that has watched this show that thinks Corlys is a emasculated character. Who cares if his wife is said to be the rightful king, that doesnt change that he is arguably the most powerful/influential person on the show. He defied the king and then had a dying king basically come groveling back to him for a marraige proposal. He didn't even go out to welcome the king when he arrived

Like I said, it's not even a criticism worth addressing. When he doesn't even acknowledge the Sea Snake's relevance pre-marriage and even after (while sitting on Viserys council) you can tell there isn't going to be any credence to it.

MadKing is wrong, but I think he meant the word "dismissed" in the sense of "not taken seriously," as opposed to the sense of "fired."

While I’ve loved Milly in the role, she also looks very young
She is a 22yo, who LOOKS about 17 and was playing a 15yo.

With THIS time jump, she is CURRENTLY about the right age for the character, but she LOOKS much younger, and the character will be getting older faster than Milly is getting older.

Agree with some others in this thread... I can't put my finger on it, but Milly Alcock just does it for me in this show. She's low key sexy as hell.

Could be, I took it as removed from the council, but your way makes sense too. Regardless, it's absurd

Corlys is definitely a top 5 most powerful person in Westeros.
His house is the bestlooking one in the series.
