The actresses that play Alicent and Rhaenyra are in their 20s.

I thought they were going to examine the princess to see if her maidenhood was still "in tact". Which obviously wouldn't be after the Cole scene.

That obviously would produce a tough spot for princess. Either have everyone think you and your uncle had sex, or tell the truth and probably get Cole executed.

Are you somehow unfamiliar with who the Targaryen’s are? This was amongst the tamer events in their “history”

It's still creepy to watch.

I wondered this as well, but if something like riding an bicycle or horseback riding can break your hymen (what they’re checking in a “purity” test) I imagine riding a dragon on the reg probably does the same.

Sure, but I guess going in, if you know anything about this world. The Targaryens, way moreso than the Lanniseters or any other Great House, are notorious inbreeders. To the point marrying a sister to an infant brother was just treated completely normalized as a possibility to people around Targaryens.

And frankly, the scene was less shocking IMO than the Jamie/Cersei actual fricking scene in episode 1 of GoT.

I agree, and Sansa getting raped was even worse to me. I know creepy comes with the territory in the GOT world.

absolutely

viserys himself is the product of three generations of brother/sister incest as is daemon. And rhaenyra’s mother was her father’s cousin.

Ones 22 and one is 19. The new Alicent is 29 and the new Targ is 31.

Sons I disappoint that the Lord of The Ring threads are so much bigger than this thread.

Season 8 really killed this board's GOT love.

3 threads every episode.

Though Walking Dead used to be huge here too and I stopped watching when Rick was still on the show.

It's really just because there are 3-4 people that have made it their full time job to troll and cry about the series....and people like myself that cant help poking them(which I need to be better not getting baited into).

Now THAT is a show that truly did not deserve the audience or the excuses made for it. Basically a mediocre show after the pilot episode, then a terrible one by season 2.

Well, not as many folks have read the book content behind this one and people have been really respectful with not posting spoilers.

Also, if you go peep those LOTR threads they’re not discussing the show. It’s the same 3-4 posters screaming that they’re racists, commies, or some weird combo of both.

I believe we get both for one more episode (not sure if it’ll be the full episode).

I think the official phrase for anyone tired of their shite is: woke white guilt liberal racist commie mentally ill nerd frick OFF kill yourself

*The lack of punctuation is source accurate*

Anyways, I think I am almost on board with the theory that Daemon has debilitating ED(though there is another one that he might be gay). Seems to line up with why he cant seem to impregnate his wife and suddenly left Rhaenyra at the brothel.

You realize you are one of those 3 or 4 people correct?

Anyone that post something you disagree with you quickly respond to tell them they are wrong. I understand there are a couple that are out there on a limb but you have literally joined them by fanning the flames.

She even acted liked she was a teenager having sex for the first time.

Maybe the reason it seemed awkward is so far this season she has been for the most part very mature and wise for her age where in that scene she acted the part of a young girl.
