On another note I'm pretty bummed Doug is dead.

Yeah, I didn't want him to die, but I can understand why Rachael knocked him off. Who knew what he would've done to her.

He turned a corner for me when he wanted Rachael to read A Tale of Two Cities to him in the car. I get that he was completely obsessed with her, but damn...

The season finished really strong. Halfway through I appreciated that the stakes were higher, but I wasn't having as much fun watching as the first season. But then the last three episodes were great.

Cashew and McPoyle to the rescue in 2015.

Is Doug definitely dead? Couldn't he just be knocked out in the woods.

Also I got the sense he didn't try to hard to defend himself against Rachel. I wonder why?

Finished it the other night, incredible, liked this season more than the 1st actually.

Rachel fricking Doug up made the finale IMO, not him getting president.

2 blows wasn't enough to kill Doug, so it'll be interesting to see where they go with that.

frick I don't want to wait another year.

Eta: Wait some of you think Doug is dead from that? Not a chance. The main blow to the back of the head didn't even knock him down or out, the one across the face fricked him up sure (broken jaw/nose/cheek) but he isn't dying from that.

Doubt it but you never know, wouldn't be surprised if he recovered.

Good riddance. Even though most of you like him I never did. The part of the show that upset me the most was most definitely Freddy. Poor guy did not deserve that, dumbass Freddy Jr...

Yeah that Freddy storyline sucked arse, hated that that had to happen.

And how it ended with him and Frank.

But it was well played and executed, all that build up getting his own chain, money, going to his sons, all to have it go down like that.

I think Freddy coming back is more likely than Doug.

Doug looked like he was there a bit with the discoloration, don't think he's coming back.

FU could have some bad situation though and just need some good ribs, or maybe a white house chef.

Freddy is also one of Frank's only friends left with Doug being gone now.

them saying "you were just a good customer" was a nod to Freddy agreeing to what Frank had said about if anyone came asking. they both knew that, and Frank knew not to press Freddy on helping him out and Freddy respected that

i didn't see it as a rough split as much as a mutually respectful agreement and goodbye from 2 hard men

The Freddy part hit the hardest. He was just an innocent guy going along on his own until Frank entered his life, but it was also because of Frank that he had gained so much. Collateral damage was everywhere this season. There's no way he can stay clean through another season.

McPoyle is definitely going to look into what Lucas was going after.

If you remember right before Frank killed Zoe he told her to delete all the info from her phone about him but at that point, she was texting him on the burn phone not his actual phone.

Great season. Just as good as season one.

I really loved how they showed that Claire, in her own way, is just as cold and calculating as frank. And that in the end all they're really loyal to is each other.

I don't see how the picture thing is confusing at all. Adam had an assistant who was basically his version of Doug and knew all about his life. Remy bribed her by buying all her crappy art at outrageous prices and she told him about the affair with Claire and I'm sure she knew how to access Adams files to get the picture.

I'm not sure if Doug is dead, I'm not sure if the writers themselves have decided if he's dead or not. But either way there will be a lot of fires for Francis to put out on that front right away. It'll be interesting to see what direction they take the show, either he gets taken down or they go the other way and he manages to start WW3 and use it to declare himself emergency dictator or something.

Also, everyone in this show is into weird sex shite. Church goers are hot lesbians, frank is bisexual, Claire is cool with everything frank does, Doug gets turned on by Charles Dickens, Jackie gets turned on by pain and her vagina has some sort of truth telling button that remy has found. It's crazy

When Tusk tells FU that he wants him to remember how beautiful the music was, that, when in prison, it might give him some sort of comfort.

And Frank responds buy telling him "piccinini is such a downer...I prefer something much more... optimistic" and then hums Hail to the Chief as he walks away.....it was great!!!!

This is what i didnt get. He just let her clobber him multiple times. Either he wanted to die or it was just shitty writing

Doug was in love with Rachel and couldn't hurt her. That's what I got out of that scene.

It's going to be interesting how it plays out from here. I'm curious to see what's going to happen when they find Rachel.
