this movie terrified my young arse, and made me scared of anything under the bed. Holy frick was i scared, and our parents and grand ma would play it up, to make it even worse.

Alien

I was too young to watch those movies. I still get nightmares occasionally.

As always to this thread, I'll go with Jaws. Can't swim in the ocean, or anywhere at night (even pools) without Jaws in my head.

This is easy for me:
#1 is the original Halloween. I still have dreams about Michael Myers frequently and they scare the shite out of me. I just can't kick it. I love the movies now, but I have a primal fear of that character.

#2 Candyman - saw this as a tweener and it scared the shite out of me as well.

#3 Pet Semetary. Just a creepy fricking movie

Jaws - Was this a horror movie? I don't think I even saw it, just hearing about it gave me nightmares about sharks in my bed.

Poltergeist - The tree trying to eat that kid; there was a tree outside my bedroom window.

Dark Night of the Scarecrow - It wasn't so much the horror, it was the cruelty of those pricks killing the scared retard.

Return to Oz freaked me out....

But I second jaws...

Literally thought a shark could attack me in any body of water, from ocean and swimming pool, all the way to a toilet... Haha
