It seems logical. She feel in love with Brody (a terrorist) and she shacked up with the Pakistani kid (nephew of a terrorist) so she may have been a terrorist hunter, but she always had a soft spot for them. I don't think her starting to go full SJW after leaving the CIA is that big of a leap. I do agree I hate what they are doing with Quinn.

I think the plot with the FBI and CIA making a fake terror cell can be interesting if that's where the writers are heading. The interplay between Carrie and Saul/Dar as she tries to oppose them has potential to be really good.

It's ruining the show for me. They need to accept that it was a terrible writing idea, fix it and move on.

Yes this could make for good story telling. I have hope that they salvage this season, and this could be the key to doing just that

I think Rupert Friend is doing a great job. Quinn has a history of brooding, and his brain damage has him listening to talk radio and further debasing himself. I expect even more extreme behavior as he gets better.

The only reason I'm still watching is for the slow burn to finally find out Saul is a terrorist, and he moved the car.

And after last night, you just might get your wish - Saul wasn't acting like a very good Jew.

Oh and the Iranians aren't really bad guys, y'all.

The Quin story line in particular is annoying me. Dude is a highly trained spec ops and one of the best there is, yet now he is a crack addict banging whorahs and getting robbed?

Umm you realize what happened to him right? You think its plausible for him to return to badass mode?

And you did watch the last episode right? He still took care of business.

The next episode looks ridiculous.

Not sure if I'm going to make it through this season fellas. A stand off with quinn at Carey's house? What a terrible direction to take the show.

I liked that episode. I really didn't see the kid getting blown up like that. It was clearly staged/false flag by the CIA right?

You think it's Dar and the CIA or the FBI dudes pissed about the outing of the informant, etc?

I had a feeling the dude would get killed but setting him up with a terror attack was definitely interesting.

Show not nearly what it was, but still good enough to keep me watching.

So I've skipped everything in this thread to avoid spoilers. Obviously I haven't started this season yet. Should I throw in the towel on Homeland? Is it complete hot garbage now?

I was drinking when watching Sunday night so I might not have caught everything, but what made it clearly a false flag? I don't disagree, just wondering what I missed

Maybe it's the FBI but they've mentioned in last season I think about the CIA trying to operate in the US, so I could see them bringing that back up. My other dark horse are those two guys that were at his party/co-workers. They seem sketchy.

I think the guy was more of a spreading propaganda type than a suicide bomber type, and the way they shot him getting into the truck made it look pretty random, not like he had pre-loaded it with bombs.

Right, I didn't think the bomb was a CIA or FBA plot. I figured it was something the local terror cell orchestrated.

Either way this season thus far is a bag ole bag of meh.

Didn't Quinn follow the guy watching Carrie to the place where the kid worked? Safe assumption he is CIA and went plant the bomb I the kid's van.

I would've rather them had killed Quinn off like they were planning on doing. This "Damaged" Quinn sucks my left nut. It's awful.

This was what I was thinking immediately after watching, but again I was a little buzzed so not surprised if there were things I didn't pick up on

I definitely agree with you here, I don't think he knew about the bomb in the truck regardless of who put it there

If they would just focus on Saul, Dar, Quinn ,and even Carrie I the field this show would be great

Having a gimp Quinn and all this SJW Carrie stuff is annoying.
