So now what? She wont be able to work for the agency or in government at all.

Is she gonna try and take on the President?

Setting up Keane as a dictator type Pres for next season? Finale was a letdown after the attack. I wanted more immediate follow up. Also, disappointed that it looks like next season will be stateside again. This show really excels when it's overseas hunting terrorists. This season felt like 24 imo

very strange finale. It's funny watching these shows that try to parallel real life during election season because they all were made with the assumption that Hillary was going to win. The whole bot army is eerily similar to what happened during the election but its funny to me that the whole "not my President" thing they made in anticipation of Trump losing, yet it actually ended up being the Hillary supporters.

I don't get why she shut out Carrie at the end. Carrie (with Quinn) was the one that saved her life.

I also think that they did a shitty job of keeping Brody's frick trophy from her mother for several months. If she's offered a senior advisor position for the POTUS, she can pull a few strings to get anything she wants.

Sorry if I'm slow, but can someone explain the last 15 minutes?

Why offer her senior advisor and then blacklist her? What did I miss?

Only thing I can think of is that she was trying to keep Carrie to thinking that she was still part of the plan so that Carrie wouldn't suspect all of the arrests.

What was the underlying importance of her reviewing the pentagon plans for an overseas base?

The president in the show is more of an amalgamation of Trump and Hillary.

My thoughts too. Dar mentions something in jail about Keane not being who she seems. That and the Baltic military action makes me believe she is working for the Russians

Is Alex Jones getting royalties because of the Brett O'Keefe character?

The pacing of the first half of the finale was really badass. I agree they most likely hit the climax about 10 min too soon in regards to wrapping everything up for next season. A little slow the rest of the way.

Also, how was Sal not blown up?? Wasn't there only 3 suvs and Carrie stopped the 3rd? The other 2 were blown up.

My first thought when they killed Quinn was that now both Saul and Quinn are dead. It certainly appeared as if both suburbans were destroyed. Saul was in there first one and the decoy of the PE was in the second.

Two other things don't jive to me now that I've slept on the finale:

1: Why didn't Quinn and Carrie simply drove to the edge of the barricades and get out of the vehicle with the PE? There was no way the police/ secret service/ etc were going to shoot her in the streets. All they had to do was get out and expose the two in the parking garage as McClendon's group and the plot to assissinate the PE.

2: Why did Carrie distance herself from Saul after the assissination attempt?
