I only began season 3. Just wondering now 10 years later what people thought about it.
Funny how 10 years later and starting it now. Iran plays a big role and the feat of nukes. Also there is an operation in Venezuela where a terrorist is taken out.
My main issues are Carrie!!! That character would have been fired long ago or disappeared by the CIA if she did 1/3 of the shite she’s done so far.
A lot of talk while walking on a cell phone in the public.
Possible spoiler for anyone else. This is the season 2 and into 3 cliffhanger.
Isn’t CIA HQ more secure of a structure than to be demolished by a car bomb? Unless a sub-nuke device was used??

I was glad to finally see Morena Baccarin's boobs.

My thought was always that it was annoying to take a pretty naturally dramatic and interesting topic (intelligence/terrorism) and inject a bunch of soap opera relationship/Carrie mental illness drama into it.
I doubt most people will remember this, but there was a show about Delta called The Unit which gradually became more and more about sidebar family/relationship drama and increasingly stupid. Homeland always reminded me of that trajectory.

Indeed. They are offered to the audience as an apology for Claire Danes gettin near naked so many times. Danes has ZERO boobs.

Just a heads up... It don't get any better, and you've already watched the best seasons. S3 may be worth a watch. It's been a minute, but I finally gave it up in S4 or S5. Just gets repetitive and exhausting with the Carrie chin quiver.

Just make sure to watch the Quinn scene about ISIS, then you can quit

And both shows had a Firefly alum on the cast.

I loved the first couple of season, not sure when I stopped season 6 or 7.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this before. I have this massive OCD when it comes to shows that I watch. I have to finish the series. No matter how bad it gets I just have to even if it's just hate watching. At some point during S5 i believe about 1/2 way through an episode I turned it off and have never watched it again.

On season 3, only saw season 1 up until episode 6 when it came out.
Very long hours at my work at the time, retired now and watching Homeland and Blacklist.
Blacklist only saw the first 7 episodes back when it came out.

Watched all 10 seasons. Show was entertaining. Better than reruns off The Office over and over.

Claire Danes in The Beast In Me was pretty much the same character. Mental issues, anxious, it's like she never had to change characters.
The Beast In Me was good though. Matthew Rhys is great at a creepy character.
