Watched an episode last night with the wifey. I didnt notice before we started that they were 26 minute episodes. It finished abruptly like mid conversation and we were like wtf.

They arent trying very hard to make Julia Roberts look pretty. She's looking old.

On episode 3

I like it but the scenes in the future are stupid with the camera like it is

Just make it full screen

I'm thru 6 episodes and am wrong for still waiting for something to happen? The characters are good and I get the flashbacks etc...but what is the point of the show. Will anything get cleared up in the 4 remaining episodes?
The last four episodes really brought it all together and was worth the time it took to get there. Season two should have many possibilities to advance the story further.

Yeah for sure. I have no clue where they will go with season 2, but they definitely have options.

Did you guys watch after the final credits for the extra scene? I just happened to stumble upon it. It starts with 1:51 left in the stream.

I'm through 6 episodes so far.

It's really good and has a very unique style to it.

It's haunting at times, ridiculous at times, absurd even.

Cast is wonderful especially Cannavale

Kind of surprised how little attention this series is getting. Fascinating and well done show. I really enjoyed it.

I liked it, but I felt it ran out of steam in the final 2-3 episodes. It tried to turn itself into a high-octane thriller, when it was always a slow-burn mystery.

I did like that final scene, and it was a good note to end the show on, but it didn't leave me wanting more as much as I think it felt like it was trying to do.

SPOILERS....

And there's only so much "haha, nothing matters" you can do to characters before the audience goes along with the same conclusion. At the end of the day, Heidi is a cog. And who cares about a cog?

see I didn't think it was really trying to turn itself into a high-octane thriller.

I think it used certain tropes from those types of works but in the end the whole "investigation" was just so the guy could hit enter on his computer and elevate the complaint. It's such a small payoff and I think the director was sorta subverting that trope.

I thought it was great and I'm glad they ended it that way.

Yea I kinda got that the whole point of the series was "we're all cogs". Carrasco even says it. I think that's why the whole, "nothing matters" type resolution was perfect. None of these characters matter to the world. Carrasco is a pencil pusher who just filters out crap that may or may not be important, Heidi a waitress(btw the whole death in the diner that no one noticed really pushes it home), Walter, cog in the military.

Tried to watch didn’t seem to be anything special to me found it boring and contrived and looked like a story that has been done over and over again. Meh.

btw the after credits scene was interesting.

Colin's indignation at having to sign that document and talking about he is responsible for the roller....and then she uses the roller

There’s a very good artistic reason for that. You’ll realize it more as the show goes on.

That said, I thought the show was very good. It had me really wanting to know what’s going on, but I was ultimately very disappointed with the ending.

The “reveal” wasn’t much of a shocker, and the last episode was so painfully open-ended that I felt like my system screwed up and didn’t play the next episode.

However, I’ll likely watch the next season if there is one.

Yes. I watched seven episodes the first night. It was great, and went by really fast. Then the second night it just seemed boring.

I got no satisfaction from the end.

Not too excited about the 2nd season as I thought I would be at the end of the first night.

Don't like binging a half hour show. Was kind of expecting 20 plus episodes after the first couple.

The main reason didn't like the ending was because I hated how Julia Roberts character didn't know what Homecoming was getting the guys in the program ready for, until the very end of the season. It made me wonder what else she didn't know about. They didn't go out of their way to expose any other things she might not have known about.

Who's watching when they start back?

I watched this show and honestly don’t remember what even happened at the end.

It was definitely a creepy show, but since I can’t remember the ending it must have sucked.

That's about right. Didn't think it was great.

Just finished, only 7 episodes. Solid series, & I enjoyed certain characters story arc. Esmail's style seemed more pronounced this season.
