Am I the only one who feels that Lily is possibly the most selfish character on the show?
She is incredibly selfish.
They are moving to Italy based on some eccentric man who could easily change his mind a week after they move.

Lilly was really hot for a couple seasons. I liked her then
Stripper Lily! She definitely has gone downhill the past few years pretty hard.

Don't we know that Marshall becomes a judge? So I don't think they move to Italy in the end.

Yeah, but she wasn't going to do it til Marshall said he definitely wanted to do it. She had pretty much set herself up with not going because she thought Marshall would hate it, then she learned Marshall loved all the things that she thought he would hate her for making him move there.
I think we could see redemption in her character with how she responds to Marshall wanting to stay. If she freaks the frick out, she is still a flaming count.

Since this season is based on 44 hours (or so) I would think that has to be a conflict in at least 1 episode. They built up to it on Monday, then had Marvin delete the pic and avoid it.
They will either keep having it almost come up then eventually when it does, Lilly will be ok with it. Or, it will come up around mid season and Lilly will be a bitch about it.

OK...so this is another question. Aren't judges elected? This has confused me since last season when they first said it.

You can be elected or appointed to a judgeship. Depends where it is.

I know i kept all of you anxiously waiting but i finally watched the two episodesso here are my thoughts
1) solidly funny throughout. Barney is funny like always, nice Ted putdowns, the mother was funny, Marshall was good (black lady was not), overall good laughs
2) I like the mother. A lot. Shes my type . I almost like her too much, because Ted doesnt deserve her because hes just an awful person. I wanted to scream "RUN AWAY" when they were interacting at the end of the episode, this episode just reienforced how much i really hate Ted. He should be lonely for the rest of his life.
3) and i Can Not believe noone has disscussed this, I was beyond pissed (relatively, i know its just a TV Show) when they threw out a bullshite "And you know we arent having kids" line. Ummm we do? Because last i checked thats a huge major storyline that you never went through. Unbelievable. Barney should be banging OT 10s til his death bed. And if he does settle down hes shown he wants kids, but noooo he doesnt now just because its way easier to deal with by doing that. Damn that was some bullshite. Oh yeah im back bitches deal with it

In season 7 or 8, Robin went to the doctor and found out that she can't have kids. So, Barney and Robin couldn't have kids anyways. That's why she said that.
However, I wouldn't be surprised if we find out they adopted kids.

She never told Barney that. Or anyone for that matter

So what happened by the carousel? Was that when they dug up the locket? And did they kiss or anything or just hold hands?
It's been a while and I'm not super invested in the show

At the carousel, Ted helped Robin look for her locket. She thought she had found it, but it was just the box that it had been buried in. Robin took to be a cosmic sign from the Universe that she shouldn't marry Barney, but Ted told her that was nonsense. She then pointed out how he showed up at the carousel just from hearing her say "No, it's stupid," and knowing it really meant a lot to her, whereas Barney didn't show up after having the same conversation earlier. At the end of that scene it started raining as Robin was bemoaning signs from the universe and Ted decided to get out of there since it was getting awkward.
And now we find out that Barney was at the carousel and saw this happen.
