Some people were trying to say that it's not Ranjeet because it's not a limo, but a sedan. He's driven both throughout the series. What he drives is more a function of what story they are telling, not a constant to base speculation on.

THEY FINALLY DID SOMETHING RIGHT
Marshall finally put the queen count lilly in her fricking place. He deserves a standing ovation
Dude was straight dropping fricking BOMBS at that trick. This entire season ive been screaming that he could win that fight in 2 damn words San Francisco
"San franciso...BOOM BITCH"
"YOU HAD YOUR DREAM CUNTCICLE IM HAVING MINE"
"Did you just call me selfish?? OHHH NO YOU DIII ENNTT"
This is now one of my favorite episodes because of Marshall calling Lily on her bullshite.

I think he has driven a sedan way more often. The only time I can think of him driving a limo is the episode where Ted gets the limo for new years.

And that's without Marshall even needing to use the fact that she tried to get them into crippling debt through her shopping and kept egging him on to move out of the apartment until they bought a slanted apartment in a shitty neighborhood.

Or Ranjeet will talk about how he had some other dream life, but wouldn't trade any of it in and give up his life with his wife and kids (who I believe he has talked about in the past).
This is what I thought immediately. I am going with Ranjeet.

I like coming up with more reasons why Marshall is right.
How about the fact that Marshall's dad died not that long ago and Lilly will be moving Marvin even further away from his grieving grandmother.

I think Marshall is in the right on the relationship, as we've discussed before. Lily has flitted from thing to thing, while also racking up huge amounts of debt while Marshall has always been a solid rock who has been faithfully pursuing one professional dream.
That said, while it was satisfying for him to call Lily out for her BS, he really approached this in the worst possible way. He ceded the moral high ground by not telling Lily about the judgeship and then calling her job a hobby. Sure, it is one, but he used the most hurtful words he could (as people often do in arguments).
Of course, Lily running away sort of proves his point. He's the solid rock and she always runs from trouble and somehow has someone save her (usually Marshall).
But Marshall made a poor jury argument. He had a winning case, and played it wrong. He went for the fight not the convincing of Lily. And the argument is simple, other than he has been pursuing this dream consistently for 8 years: the Captain is insane, and basing any decision on the good graces of an unreliable crazy person when you have another option is a terrible idea. Know your jury, man.
The Barney stuff was classic, and used to resolve a lot of emotional beats on the show. It closed the door on Ted and Robin, in the most touching way. for such a ridiculous plotline, it had surprising pathos. Though I'm sad there will be no ring bear.

All Marshall had to do was convince her the judgeship was better for their kids future.
I seem to recall he didnt say there would be no bear...just that there WILL be a bearer. That apparently is some sort of "sloth-like" creature.

It was a weird way to lead into a touching moment, but it really worked. I was actually half expecting Barney to quickly snap out of his "Truth Serum" phase as soon as Robin left and he said that and tell Ted that he doesn't need to lie anymore and he is as confident as can be. I'm glad they didn't do this because it made his confession about finally being happy all the more real.

Yeah, that was the key phrase there.

Totally agree. They've planned for this for so long. And now they are going to move to Italy and rely on the Captain? It was one thing when Marshall didn't have a job, but now that he has a judgeship? This is what y'all have worked to achieve. Why chase a different dream you just came up with a month ago?

Lily went about the argument as a typical irrational person. She just kept repeating "We are going to Italy!"

That Whiney demand of hers right there made that Bomb that much sweeter.

There was a clip at the end of the show that had someone saying "feeding time" and then you here bear noises

I thought it was indicating the kid was some sort of mutant.

What really makes Lily more of a bitch is that she didn't just go stay with Robin for the night or another guest... Not only is she being a bitch to Marshall, but she is risking missing two of her best friends wedding. She just experienced how much trouble Marshall had getting to the wedding, she is now risking missing the wedding by leaving.
Her character is just an awful person.

She's not only walking out on Marshall, She's walking out on her kid who she also has not seen.
