Anyone else intrigued by this movie?

I may watch it one day but there are plenty of Faust rip-offs. I imagine it's going to be over-stylized to compensate for its lack of originality within a popular genre, and try too hard to make larger social commentaries (it's produced by Jordan Peele, right?) that are already baked into the theme.
I doubt it surpasses small budget versions like Starry Eyes, Pyewacket, or Late Night with the Devil in that genre.

Satan and football, no thanks.

Seems to essentially be Robert Johnson at the crossroads, except it is football instead of music.

Appreciate that the movie studios at least green lit something different for a change

It shouldn't bother you. You should already used to Roger Goodell being a part of pro football.

Great premise but the creator will ruin it with his nonsense.

Is it different? All of Peeles shite is the same

There’s never been a football horror film before. Not sure we need one now.

I’ve never even heard of those other movies.

Just be glad I gave you straight up Faustian movies and not more subversive versions of the myth that blend in folk horror like Kill List or Moloch

Whatever floats your boat but I cant imagine why someone would get enjoyment from watching something so dark and unsettling

Starry Eyes is pretty good. Never heard of the second one. Late Night is good for the most part, but it is pretty fun overall.

What’s the underlying message on how whitey is evil in this one?

I probably won't watch it.

reviews came out that it is terrible, still kind of want to see it though. Just because it is something different

If only Peele was a writer or director on this film.

Sure sure.

Its his production company but I would not call this a Peele movie if he isn’t the director
