Heinous McDonald's AI Christmas ad gets pulled for being blasted by internet

WTF were they even thinking?
Maybe someone thought tossing out some generic Christmas Vacation horror vibes would be 'funny' and 'cutting edge', but it was so exactly what NO ONE wanted that they were forced to pull it from YouTube.
The theme - Christmas is terrible, so come to McDonalds - isn't landing very well with potential customers.

Commercials will probably be the first thing that AI generated content completely replaces.
Ads are short and pretty terrible to begin with, but still probably cost a decent amount to make.
The vast majority of "ads" I see on YouTube are for garbage products with AI voiceover

AI is so awful. I try to consume as little as possible .

AI only generates what it's prompted to generate. And then, it's up to actual people to STILL edit and craft the work, as well as finally give it a green light to go forwards and act as a ad for the company.
People did this, not AI. And they even boast about it, staying up for nights and weeks, working on this.

Heinous is a bit much but regardless it's still a really shitty ad and while many are turned off by the commercialism having such a nihilistic ad while saying the solution is a fast food spot is just incredibly dumb

Now that AI is going to be making all the ads, do you think there will be less interracial couples and more black robbers?

Within the next 5 years the commercials you watch will be custom generated on the spot specifically to your carefully cultivated interests using your own likeness or the likeness of your algorithmically selected celebrity porn star of choice.

My youngest daughter (no pics you pervs) was in a handful of commercials when she was around 7-9 years of age. I went on a few on the productions, and it is amazing the amount of resources they sometimes put into making a 30 second commercial. The amount of people involved, the equipment, the food (was great), and it would be an all-day thing. Lord knows how much they had to pay the city for permits and permission to shut a street down for a few hours. Thank goodness she grew out of that shite and didn't want to do it anymore because it was interesting the first time, and a total drag that other times. I can see AI quickly taking over this pretty quickly just for the savings.

When I noticed that the Underdog AI ad literally just looked like they put together a bunch of 6 second Grok videos i knew ads were cooked.

This isn’t a McDonald’s brand ad. This could work for other fast food chains, but not iconic family friendly Micky D’s.
It’s BudLight , Cracker Barrel execs being tone deaf to their customer base. Again.
