Have they brought back up the item the group was looking for?
What was is it? A watch?

Yes it was a watch. It has not been mentioned again, and doesn’t seem too important to this story.

It was found in the avengers tower, so my best guess is a device of Tony’s, perhaps a key to unlocking a vault with suits or something like that. Could lead into armor wars?

I’m guessing the watch will end up being important.

In episode 3 Clint did say that the TM may have been looking for something else and something about the kind of stuff that could have been found in Avengers mansion. I took that as a subtle reference to the watch.

This is how the MCU version has always been. When he went hand to hand combat vs Black Panther he held his own for a little while but he’s never been that kind of fighter in the MCU

This is what Im saying...the MCUs hawkeye fighting ability is subpar.

I'm liking this show after ep3 though and love Renner as Hawkeye so it is what it is

Man,it’s gonna be awesome when Walken shows up to explain how Bucky Barnes smuggled that watch out of that Hydra prison camp.

Have they specifically said what happened to his hearing? I may have missed it if something was said, although I figure its a result of an injury from the final battle against Thanos & crew.

he's gotten beat up over the years. Explosions and headshots have taken their toll.

Ok glad someone else wondered about this. I couldn’t remember if this was always present in the MCU films or not. Did he have hearing issues in the comics? I’ve never read them.

I assumed it could have happened in the big explosion when Thanos bombed headquarters. Or even that maybe it was a side effect of carrying the gauntlet as long as he did out of the rubble.

Anyway, we just caught up last night and this is a really fun ride. Much more fun than Loki or even Wandavision imo.

Ep 3 was so great. The car chase scene has to be up there with all time char scenes imo. The camerawork was award worthy and unlike anything I’ve seen.

But even beyond that, the intro showing Maya’s origin is some of the best emotional work of the MCU in a long time imo. That actor who plays the dad has been really good in a lot of things (Fargo, Reservation Dogs, Westworld), and they did a great job casting Maya from young to old.

Just really well done and like I said it’s a fun series. Hope they stick the landing here.

Only 3 episodes left. Of course, when the dust settles, that'll be over three hours of content.

Stansfield has been busy in the last year. Filming this, doing voice of Vi in Arcane's first season (Season 2 currently in production)

Hawkeye Larping has to be to be one of the funniest things ever.

I think one of his watches turned into an iron man suit. I can’t remember which movie but I remember it turning into his blaster glove and so on.

I bet it’s gearing up for the Iron Wars.

Civil War before he tried to take on Bucky in Berlin

Just checked. Not the same watch/bracelet.

Just caught up on ep 3 last night. I'm really liking this show, and the car chase scene was excellent. The short scene in the subway was even better, though, with the chemistry and timing between Renner and Steinfeld being perfect to add to the depth and sincerity of the characters. The whole episode was fantastic.

I've been playing catch-up with this series. When are the new episodes released?
