I don't remember The Stoned Age at all.

I do. It tried to piggy back off Dazed and Confused's popularity.

It has China Katner in it. Paul Katner & Grace Slick's kid. She use to make a lot of guest MTV VJ appearances.

toaster strudel.
You know how foods that you thought were good as a kid usually end up sucking when you try them as an adult?

It’s the opposite with toaster strudel. They’re fricking delicious.

You drank coffee as a kid?

Been a coffee drinker since I was about 6 years old.
My mom let us have it with milk in elementary school. Someone gave my dad four mugs with "For my coffee break" written on them. After you finished your coffee this message was stamped on the bottom of the inside of the cup: "BACK TO WORK" We got them. We always said "Back to work" when we finished them. They had us trained like little seals at an early age.

Mowed yards down the street for money in 5th and 6th grades too.

How did none of y’all watch like three hours of the same episode of Rich Eisen and Stuart Scott on SportsCenter first before flipping over to TPIR? That was mandatory.

as a teenager in the 80 and early 90's my mom and I had a routine of cleaning house in the morning while Price is right was on, then we'd stop and eat lunch and watch when The Young and the Restless came on right after.

For those of us in the 70s, you got Gatorade in glass containers and Wheel of Fortune (where you bought shite with your money - none of this cash shite) before Bob and his Beauties would give you an hour of their time.

In the 80s, after TPIR, you would get Press Your Luck on CBS and then Card Sharks on NBC before the noon news and then the afternoon soaps.

But yeah, sick days were awesome. I loved the game shows...

8AM - Cartoons
9AM - Family Feud
10AM - Price is Right
11AM - Soap Operas start up. Switch to Nickelodeon the rest of the day and for Nick in the Afternoon.

This.

Plus reruns of sportscenter all day or random ESPN programming like the PBA.
