Have you guys heard the original pitch for Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers?

Basically takes place immediately after 4, and he dies in the mine shaft and is entangled in barbed wire and rebar. Then lightening would strike near the mineshaft and shock Michael back to life. But once he's revived, he becomes "normal". The evil died when he died and Loomis comes to that realization throughout the movie. All the while the townspeople and police become the so-called "villains" of the movie and ultimately kill him at the end.

That should be immediately apparent since he should start talking and not killing people.

Even if he was nice thanks to lightning he still did kill a bunch of their family and friends.

God that was horrible. "Jason needs to go to hell. I'm going to dig up his body and burn it. " digs up body and then he gets struck by lightning. Then after that becomes an unstoppable monster.
