Have we discussed Jordan Peeles overtly racist statements?

This very board was chastising me not too long ago saying Jordan Peele is a saint and definitely not racist.

Jordan Peele comes out and says he does not want to cast white actors in his movies.
Just imagine the backlash if a white director said he doesn't want to cast black actors in his movies. HOLY shite you all would lose your shite.

They're his movies, and he's the director. If he doesn't want to cast a white male lead like 95% of the other movies out there that's his choice. What's the problem?

Reverse the color of the director and actor and it would be blowing up the media.
Don't understand why clowns can't see it is a stupid statement to make by any director. That stupidity on his part means I'll never see another of his movies. And I won't miss them. Already too much content available for my consumption. I don't need to pay a racist.

I only made this thread because everyone on this board was taking bullets for Peele last week saying he's not racist.

I don't find the statement racist. Sorry.
He says he doesn't see himself casting a white dude in a lead role. That he can cast black people in lead roles. That he has nothing against white people, but that he's seen that movie.
That's not racist. That's just saying he'd rather write and direct movies centered around a black protagonist. Which makes sense since he's, you know, black.
But I do think if a white director said he doesn't see himself casting a black dude as a lead actor the backlash would be monumental. And it also illustrates the point I've made numerous times to friends: if black people want to star in films, they need to stop pushing their actors to be cast in roles they aren't meant for and instead start grooming young black writers with a perspective on the black family and experience. Aaron Sorkin isn't going to write a movie about a black dude and it be authentic. That requires a person who knows what he or she is talking about. Jordan Peele is doing that. Good for him.

Well we've seen backlash when the idea of having a black actor in a certain role is discussed (Ex. The Sony leaked emails).
