*SPOILERS*

Looks like Hannibal has screwed himself with the Tobias situation. Jack seemed pretty suspicious when questioning Hannibal about what happened. And I almost feel bad for Hannibal, now that he finally believes he has a friend in Will Graham. I'm really looking forward to next week's episode.

Another good episode tonight. Tobias was kicking Hanbibal's arse there for a little bit.

I caught up last week. I really like it. I may need to see a shrink now that I am sympathetic with a cannibal.

I knew from seeing tobias in the prior episode that something was up with him and he would return. Too big of an actor to play a small cameo role in the opera scene.

Hannibal got his butt kicked by him him too... He might have to hit the gym!

I was telling myself Hannibal was letting Tobias beat him up a little so he would be bloody and bruised for Jack and Will but I think Tobias was really getting the best of him.

Anyone see the preview for next week? Looks like Will Is going to start figuring this out with Hannibal.

I wonder if he's gonna go "this is my design" in Hannibal's office and realize instantly Hannibal is lying?

i dont think so, I mean the only motive he has to go on that's present at the crime scene is self preservation.

What i think may happen though is that Jack might begin to get suspicious of lecter, while will empathizes/connects with him, and lecter will use this to drive graham further away from jack and towards himself.

I could see that. It's just the preview was hinting around that Will will become suspicious of Hannibal so I'm not sure. And the you have to remember that very weird moment when hannibal was in the ambulance last week. It looked Will was more interested than normal in what was going on with Hannibal.

What do you think the coyotes or whatever howling and barking in Will's head means?
I told my girlfriend that I think it's some sort of clue for Will that the Chesapeake ripper is a cannibal like coyotes and wolves. She said that was stupid

I'm really liking this show. The only thing that made me laugh a bit was the way Tobias started swinging the chord. Looked a little queer.

Anyway, I think they are tricking you with the preview of next week. When Hannibal asks Will if he told Jack, I bet it will be the revelation that Will knows he is full born going nuts.

I was hoping Will came in to save the day by killing Tobias as he was pummeling Hannibal.

Any thoughts on the significance of the bull moose Will sees in his dreams/hallucinations? I always thought of it as his own madness that he fights so hard to suppress. When Hannibal killed Tobias with the statue of same moose it made me think about it even more.

Did Hannibal send Will after Tobias as a friend or for Will to die? Remember Tobias told Hannibal that they will probably send some FBI guy to question him and he would kill him...

Also in the therapy session with Scully, he talked to her about meeting a new friend that has the same hobbies and sees the world like him. Perhaps he is afraid of Will and his ability to catch serial killers.

Its hard to say. On one hand he could have sent Will to be killed, rather than so it himself if he is feeling threatened. Its not his MO to kill people like Will unless absolutely necessary, but maybe he doesn't mind manipulating someone else to do it. On the other hand, it may be the other way around and he tipped off Will in hopes that Will would take out Tobias himself. He did say he didn't want to be Tobias' friend as Hannibal is a lone wolf and wants to always be discreet.

The moose is Hannibal. Will's subconcious is tell him something, trying to lead him to something, and the moose is clearly Hannibal based on the statue. I noticed the statue like the first time in his office and made the connection.

well yeah but I think it means something deeper. I think it's another clue from his subconscious. He's going to realize very soon that the ripper eats his victims. Remember when he was in the field with Dr. Bloom, he said something about coyotes eating their own. That's just my opinion though
