Never before in the annals of TV history have so many people waited so long only to be extremely disappointed by the product. I had in my head since 2001 what a Halo movie or TV show would look like. Something like Apocalypto had a baby with Aliens.
I wanted to see Master Chief wrecking shop on some elites. We got that like the first 10 minutes of the first show, and haven’t seen it since.
I literally fell asleep during the last episode. I give two shits about little Asian girl. I can’t imagine it can get any worse from here.

I've played through all the games once, but I've read all of the books at least 4 or 5 times each. I would have been thrilled with an adaptation of one of the books - make Ghosts of Onyx or the Kilo-5 trilogy, but I would have been really satisfied with just a new story fit within the established Canon of the books and games. This is not that.
Like I mentioned a few pages back, this is the visual art style, costume, and universe physical settings, but it kind of ends there. I'm enjoying it, but I'm not creaming my pants like I had hoped I would be.
After Ep.4 I really like the storyline with Kai and her awakening. Looking forward to John turning on Halsey as well.
I really don't care for Ha's story. It's wasted budget to me.

He just watched it first thing this morning. I work from home and usually have 50 minutes before work starts so I cycle and watch shows I like that my family doesn’t want to watch during it. This is the first time I didn’t finish it before 8 because I swore it off after last week.
