I like him because on DDD he puts the spotlight on the owner/chef.

Guy Fieri

Kind of jealous. The guy gets paid to drive around the country in a cool car and eat.

And I'm extremely jealous of his outdoor kitchen.

His place is ridiculous. I’m jealous of him. He’s just a dude that was talked into sending a video to Food Network as a joke. He’s never changed his look or the way he acts, just has more money.

He’s worked in kitchens and cleaned floors and washed dishes for years.

Happy for him.

I don't like DDD only because he never has anything negative to say. He likes everything he tries, no constructive criticism. He says, "Great job" to every person on the show. It's hard to take his recs seriously as a result.

DDD wouldn’t exist if local mom & pop restaurants knew a famous chef was about to come in and “critique” their operation.

Who would sign up for that

I get it, but I actually like this. Not every show has to be Kitchen Nightmares.

Saw Giada recently on one of Bobby's shows. She's ruined herself with bad plastic surgery.

He’s been making the rounds on podcasts this year and I’ve really got to know a different side of him and he’s very likable

He was on Rogan, and Bussin with the boys. They were ragging him about how they know when he doesn’t like a dish.

Seems like a genuine dude that just is himself and does a lot for charity.

Btw 15% have closed down is very good for that space, especially after COVID. Most places get a nice bump after they are on the show.

i've never gotten the hate. sure the spikey frosted tips are douchey, but he puts people on the map and does a lot of charity work in the area and I've never heard anybody say a bad thing about him personally.

Bourdain on the other hand...

yeah, i respect dad trying to help him out. But every time that kid is on air, its like he sucks the life out of every encounter.

Hunter has no personality at all. Too boring. Also Beat Bobby Flay is Food Networks best current competition show

If you watch it you can tell when he doesn't like food.

Throw Jeremy Wade from River Monsters in the discussion. Guy really just travels around the world catching rare fish as a job.
