The Longest Day is way up there with an international cast. Here's a write up:

The original had an amazing cast obviously but not as many amazing actors as the new one. Hell Casey Affleck was like the 5th-6th best/ most recognizable actor and he won an Oscar for best actor later in his career.

Not the greatest ever but Angels in the Outfield would eventually become a hell of a cast:

Danny Glover
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Tony Danza
Christopher Lloyd
Adrien Brody
Matthew McConaughey
Neal McDonough

Not fricking bad for a 1994 kid's movie.

Armageddon had a pretty solid cast as did Tombstone.
Also both Blues Brothers movies.

Sin City had a pretty loaded cast.

The film stars an ensemble cast led by Jessica Alba, Benicio del Toro, Brittany Murphy, Clive Owen, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis, and Elijah Wood, and featuring Alexis Bledel, Powers Boothe, Michael Clarke Duncan, Rosario Dawson, Carla Gugino, Rutger Hauer, Jaime King, Michael Madsen, Nick Stahl, and Makenzie Vega among others.

The Longest Day and it's not close.

Although I also agree with the first response to you that - if there is a clear second, it is A Bridge Too Far. (ETA: Both films adapted from Cornelius Ryan books.)

(The OP's IAMMMMW is the GOAT cast for a comedy, though.)

True Romance

Outside of the older epic level casting which is unaffordable now, True Romance is always my answer.

I don’t agree but only because that’s a unknown cast where many turned out great vs a cast of great knowns. But still a great submission.
