I'll agree with A-team.
I just think MacGyver and ninja turtles were more 90's.

3rd place . Chip and dales rescue rangers

Voyagers was cool.

Even his co-star Jennifer O'neill had earlier shot herself on accident messing around with a hand gun. In the abdomen.

There was a show in late 70's/early 80's where a guy builds a spaceship out of a concrete truck and other parts from his junk yard. He was planning to go to the moon and salvage the lunar equipment left by NASA.

What was the name of the show, Salvage?

Edit****

I found it, it was called "Salvage 1". It only ran one season in 1979. I remember loving it as a 11 year old kid.

A-Team and Airwolf would be my #1 and #2. Magnum is right there, but is a hybrid PI/action series.

I never cared for Knight Rider (there - I said it.)

"a guy" - you mean Andy Effing Griffith, right?

Pre-Matlock Andy Griffith, at that.

"a guy" - sheesh, you kids and your drugs.

I was thinking it was Lee Majors when I was writing the reply.

Magnum PI stands the test of time.

The rest not so much, but they were good back then.

The A Team managed to do all of that damage and never kill a single person.

That's talent right there.

I think only Magnum PI is still really good to a modern viewer. Miami Vice was more stylish, darker, and explored the 80s drug culture in a way that Magnum rarely attempted but it ended up being much more dated.

Knight Rider was a fun kiddie show and the A team was sort of like bad Schwartzenegger moved to the small screen. I suspect that neither of those would interest a modern viewer any more than someone who grew up playing Halo would be likely to understand old people's fondness for Donkey Kong.

You guys forget Crime Story that ran for about two years which was about the Chicago Mob and a special detachment of the CPD tasked with stopping them. It had some really good acting in it from Dennis Farina as well as Steven Lang. Even Andrew Dice Clay was pretty good

Wiseguy on CBS was awesome as well . It would attract some pretty good stars like Jerry Lewis, Stanley Tucci, Kevin Spacey anong others....it was intense
