GoT: The Mountain That Rides

I understand the original actor playing Ser Gregor is busy with the Hobbit movie, but aren't there other actors out there that look as vicious instead of who they went with?

They can do wonders with camera angles and such. Go back and check out The Green Mile sometimes. Michael Clarke Duncan isn't even close to being as big as they were able to portray him.

The original mountain was awesome and was perfect. He had the batshit crazy badass thing going. The new one just looks like a taller Christopher Lee. Not intimidating at all.

I refuse to accept the new Mountain. As I read all the books, I always pictured him to be just like the one from Season 1. This new one isn't crazy looking enough and weighs like 200 lbs. Horrible casting job.

And not only that, I don't think he has the acting chops to fill the role. I expect a much more limited Mountain in seasons 3 and 4.

Totally agree with this. I hate casting choice, it's bothered me all season.

He looks about the same to me. I happened to catch the Season 1 episode with the joust over the weekend (that's what made me think about Sandor).
