He could be heading to them. I don't think the entire Army was at kings landing.

According to these leaks he actually heads to Riverrun to get the Lannister part of the army there to go north. I could see that happening and would make sense. As well as Edmund is still in play as a character. They seem to either kill everyone off once they are done with them. But as mentioned earlier the part of the elephants threw me for a loop when I heard Cersi mention it last night and could find no mention of it elsewhere.
But I agree I just can not see that ending at all.

I also believe that Fire & Ice is Jon as the true son of both, not him and Dany getting together or them having offspring even though they have already played up that she can not have a child which means it will happen.
I also see Cersi in the end dying by her own hand not by someone else. I see the war in the north ending and as the army with Jon on the back of a dragon heading towards KL that Cersi sets off the Wild Fire and blows the whole city in spite as she has stated basically no one else will sit on the Iron throne.

Yeah the high quality Season 7 leaks came out much later than this, there have been a few 8 "leaks" now. They all seem dumb and fake.

If you read the first episode "script" it straight says that Theon is going to winterfell with Jon and Dany. That clearly isn't happening if you watched the last episode.
Not saying some of things in there won't turn out to be true. But all of us could come together and throw some shite at a wall and some of it will stick.

Also one of the scripts Episode 6 it states that Davos is in the script but has no lines.
Then in scenes 3 & 5 he has lines and is also suppose to be fighting with Jon nut.
So whoever put it together may have some info but I believe a lot of blanks were filled in based on assumptions.

Which is why this is a fan fiction. It does absolutely nothing to break the wheel.
We are back at the beginning of GoT. They even threw in the nugget of Bran's body being brought back north of the wall and becoming the new NK.
