from beginning to end...yes

but that battle scene from 4 was just an unbelievable production. that is not topped here, i assume you know the plot developments since you're posting here...and it's one of the biggest plot developments in the entire series

Its my favorite episode of the series so far. I have already watched it twice today on my iphone and plan to watch it again tonight on the TV and will watch it again Sunday night.

I don't think he wants to kill them just yet. I think the NK and all the WWs are wargs like Bran but the NK is probably the most powerful. So he can probably see parts of time like Bran can. Would explain why only one of the wights didn't die when Jon killed the White Walker. And why the White Walker army knew to bring big arse chains and was waiting for several hours.

Also the NK's can literally throw a football over them mountains. Dude is strong as hell.

Yeah, no shite. That guy is as strong as Superman. If he can keep up that strength I don't know how much of a chance Jon would stand against him, since their blades hitting would shatter his arms.

But yeah, just wrapped it up. Great episode. I loved the interaction between all the characters. I didn't think the battle itself was a good as some of the others we have received recently, but it's still awesome to see all those badasses fighting alongside each other. Thought Tormund was a goner for sure and I'm shocked Beric made it out of the battle alive. I thought Gendry would go down simply due to the Hound having his hammer in the preview.

And then when Dany's dragons came, awesome! And while Benjen is a thoroughly acceptable choice to save Jon, was anyone else waiting for Rhaegal to save Jon from the lake?

I am curious if Viserion will breath fire or ice. And where did the Others get that chain?

And I'm pumped that Sansa now has the dagger to kill LF with!

I think I'd put the Spoils of War and Battle of the Bastards over it, but I think it certainly competes with Hardhome. Granted seeing 2 of the gifs where Viserion is killed and resurrected did ruin some of the suspense.

And speaking of ruining the suspense, FootballNostradamus is definitely forming "theories" off of the leaks. The leaks starting popping up here at 9:00 with the gifs, and then he forms a thread at midnight claiming to be a "true Hodor" (first red flag) and "asks" if the Night King could shoot an ice staff at one of the dragons like Mortal Kombat. I am bumping that thread the second the episode finishes airing.
