Exactly. More bad writing and forcing the audience to make assumptions.

Hey, I know...

Let's give Jon full access to a prisoner because it's not like we've had any issues with treason lately...

That means to replace themselves, do they become what they fight against (for the GREATER GOOD?!)?

Again, notice we're discussing this issue while the SHOW did jack shite with it; didn't even mention anything about it or show their future ambitions.

Yeah, I can see them becoming a type of bane to Westeros.

Going to towns saying families with more than one son have to give one to their army. Etc.

But they were going to Naath.

And Westeros already banned slavery; that was why Jorah Mormont left Westeros. He was enslaving people and selling them to people from Essos, got caught, and was going to be beheaded by Ned Stark.

So logically, they're either going to Naath to retire/protect Naath (because of the Missandei connection [and which would kill some of them in the books]) or they're stopping there before heading to Essos proper and starting a fight to liberate all the slaves there.

Either way, they're essentially pointless in terms of Westeros politics. Why are the nobles deferring to what they want beyond a short term appeasement until they leave?

Especially after the queen they had allied themselves with turned out to be a total nut job, torching tens of thousands of people and laying waste to the capital city in the process. She was a usurper queen at that as all of them now know that Jon Snow was not really a bastard but the rightful heir to the throne.

But we're just going to listen to a prisoner that had been imprisoned for treason against the crown and make Jon Snow's brother the king. The reason being? He makes for a good story.

My brother, pushed him out of castle tower. Why? Cause he was caught banging my sister.

Then he survived an assassin, went North of the Wall, went back in time to make someone a bit of an idiot (and used them as a mobile carrier) then came back as the Three-Eyed Raven to save mankind. I know most every doesn't know that and won't believe it but hey, good story.

WHO WOULDN'T LOVE THAT STORY?!?!?

Also, let's call him Bran the Broken instead of Brandon Stark. If we're breaking the wheel, let's call him a goofy name instead of something formal. YAY - WHOLE NEW WESTEROS!!!

Bronn’s character was severely undercu the last three episodes.

Now he is the Master of Coin? Really?

Some questions:

Was Sam the Lord of Horn Hill, or a Maester of the Citadel?

What army does Bran have as king of Westeros less the North?

Why does Sweet Robin and his bannerman Yohn Royce each get a vote?

Why are they closing the gate at the wall?

How long till Bronn and Brianne hook up?

How will the Iron Islanders make their living now?
