Tyrion would know that Casterly Rock was dry because he was Master of Coin at one time. He saw that LF was just burning the books.

When Bran says that Sansa looked pretty on her wedding night ---- What if he meant the night she wed Tyrion?

Jon wants to give Winterfell to Sansa, and she declined that. That was settled before they spoke to the other houses. She's out there openly supporting Jon as the leader, not standing and claiming it should be hers. She advises him and questions the wisdom of his moves at times, but she isn't invoking the "I'm the Stark and you MUST follow my commands" card.

That's how I remember it.

i can guarantee he wont do this

100% guarantee

point taken!

You know what I mean. Jon is for all practical purposes "Lord Commander of the North" instead of just the Wall now, and his decisions are all based on that angle. Bran could return and claim Winterfell, and still swear allegiance to Jon in this matter, and as far as the North goes, everything would remain the same (and had he chosen that title, there might have been less tension when he met Dany). And of course, Bran can do as he's currently doing, and say he relinquishes any claim on Winterfell.

If he did claim Winterfell and said "I am the King in the North, as rightful heir to house Stark", there would be problems. Jon was the guy who fought on the field, but he's still a bastard. Oaths sworn to him for him being the acknowledged leader of house Stark could be considered null and void, since he would not be that anymore.

He said it was snowing on the night, just like it was as they spoke about it. Clearly he meant the post-wedding rape night.

I don't think Tywin told anyone but Cersei that. I don't think Tywin would want that out in the open. Now it doesn't matter as much.

If only to clear up her...misconception regarding that conception.

I honestly don't think Bran saying he needs to talk to Jon is in reference to his parentage. More likely about the Night King and the White Walkers. Bran knows that is what is important, not Jon's possible claim to the Iron Throne.

It's like y'all didn't watch the episode, it doesn't matter what would happen in that scenario, Bran said he wanted the complete opposite.

Not debating what he said, just considering what impact Bran has on things.

The North pledged fealty to Jon, on the basis that he was the new leader of house Stark. Sansa had more claim, but she already chose to give her pledge to Jon, so there was no strife.
Bran technically has the legal claim, and he just showed back up. If you're a Karstark or similar, you need to hear him say "no, Jon's still in charge, carry on", or else you're potentially supporting a usurper. Karstark might be a bad choice, as they may be faced with Jon being the only one to support them still having power... so choose a loyal house, like Mormont. Same issue applies.

Tyrion is pretty sharp. I would imagine he could have figured it out without being told. I think he wanted Casterly Rock because he was denied it by his dickhead dad. Who needs gold when you can conquer everything?

The northern bannerman chose Jon snow as the king in the north because he led them to freedom from the Boltons reign, not because he had a stark lineage

I'm pretty sure part of Lyanna Mormont's sell was that even though he's a bastard he still has "Ned Stark's blood flowing through his veins". It was a combination of both.

Could Jon still be Kingindanorf if Bran were lord of WF?

I mean, I'm sure he could. It's not like there is a lack of castles. He could use the Dreadfort if needed.

But I doubt very much that's going to happen. Sooner or later, Jon's parentage will become known and I think that will change things. I think he and Danny will unite the Kingdom to fight the War for the Dawn.

If the living prevail, and both lived, I think Jon and Danny could set up shop somewhere central. I think the Twins are pretty centrally located and have a current vacancy. I don't remember where Harrenhal is but they could rebuild that. They could institute some kind of a parliament (the "Large" Council perhaps?) including both Lords and Commoners to advise them. I don't think that would be TOO much of a stretch in types of government.

Truth is though, we (or I at least) don't have any idea who is going to make it through. Or even what will be left at the end of the war.

I wonder how that would change if they ever find out he's actually a Targaryen

Has anyone considered that PERHAPS Bran was talking about a FUTURE event (Sansa's future wedding)? Of course, if he was recollecting a vision he has seen in the past, the future event would be expressed in past tense.

Something to think about....

Jon's parentage has little to do with a claim on the Iron Throne.

That ain't his part to play.

Doesn't change the truth of Lyanna Mormont's statement.

My thing is, he's still got Stark blood running through him.
