There’s a reason why the term judeo-Christian exists, but Muslim-Christian does not.

What is that reason?

Codigo Anejo is so good. I agree with the poster from earlier, if you don’t like tequila, you haven’t had a good one.

Codigo is really good (haven't tried the Rose). I like to try as many different brands as I can, and I have a long way to go as I tend to stick to ones I like - but I will say that if a person likes tequila, they should also explore Mezcal. So much variety in the flavors from different regions.

How you drink it matters. I never shoot tequila. I stick the bottle in my fridge and drink it neat, or in some cases over ice. I don't like to mix it with anything, and I hate margaritas.

Tequila is actually a very healthy beverage. If you are diabetic, or living the no/low carb life - it metabolizes as a protein, not a sugar. You won't see a glucose spike, and drinking tequila will actually level out your blood sugar.

A lot of people don't realize that tequila is a form of Mezcal - like Bourbon is a form of whiskey.

It's pretty good (Blanco), a rich taste.

I drained a bottle of Reposado this weekend, and it was ok. Not too smooth, kinda left me scratching my head as to why I liked the Blanco more.

I also like:

Casamigos (Reposado & Mezcal)
Don Julio Anejo
El Mayor
Casa Noble

I picked up a couple of bottles of Teremana (the Rock's tequila brand), and liked the blanco more than the Reposado. Both Bottles were pretty cheap, too ($25 and $35).
I saw ESB and ROTJ in the theaters. Those movies absolutely defined my childhood. The action figures and toys were everything back then. I was born in 1975, so I missed ANH, the original Star Wars movie, but the other two were everything. Along with Raiders of the Lost Ark, Rocky 3, ET, and maybe a few others like Clash of the Titans, we had a RICH childhood. Really great memories.
Well, sometimes it's just better to steer clear of family bullshite and you have friends that are kinda in the same situation. So you meet up and enjoy a peaceful situation, like holidays are supposed to be.

He’s always said he'd reunite for the money. That was the condition.

Who, Gorman?

I found the Gorman quote pretty heavy when he said, "The Black Crowes are like my HS girlfriend, I had fun but would never go back." In so many words. I wonder if it was really that bad that a musician would never want to return to something that was so good.
As the Black Crowes are now touring, sans drummer Steve Gorman, I am kinda intrigued by the makeup and history of breakups the band has had.

I am by no means the type of person that is really into music, but I did like TBC's stuff in the early 90's. I did not know how f'ed up they are, with all the strife between Chris and Rich Robinson as well as Gorman.

Chris Robinson seems like a real dick, but damn they made some good music.
If her breath stinks, and she's a 8-10, are you mounting?
Well, I don't understand why Frodo didn't just take one of those Eagles straight to Mount Doom. Same with the Hobbit. Could have saved a lot of money and only one movie, even though I loved the LOTR trilogy.

I stopped paying my stupid dues a long time ago bc of the shite that flys in my neighborhood. People parking in the lawns really is the thing that pisses me off the most.
Theriot was loved in Chicago for the way he played. He was also hated. Especially when he played for the Cardinals and stated that he was on the "right side of the rivalry."

I'll always love Theriot bc what he did while at LSU, and he was a Cub.
I'm a Cubs fan, and I love Kyle Schwarber - but Amir Garrett's reaction is freaking hilarious.
Besides the ending being really terrible, I get even more pissed off with every unfinished situation left dangling. I realize a new one each day, it seems.

Really poor execution. They should redo the last couple of seasons. It would be appreciated.
When I was a kid, the Elephant Man did a real number on me, for some reason. Very traumatic.

First, the "how." It's something that we've always known about in the Star Wars universe...Rey is a clone. And as to "who"...it becomes pretty obvious once you recognize the how.

I really think perhaps Maz Kanata (who was a smuggler and a pirate), came to find Luke's hand and lightsaber (remember, she had it in a box?) and Rey is a clone of Luke. Used his hand to build her. Makes sense.

Nah man, that's WILLIE MCGEE

They are paying Darvish and Tyler Chatwood like 33m combined this year

Darvish is actually pitching like he is worth the contract - which has taken him off the hook. Chatwood will never live up to his contract, but at least he has been a huge plus lately.

The problem is the road record. Cubs are a great team at home, but on the road they are terrible. Why? Hard to say.

Honestly, I am shocked and amazed at the hate toward Israel. From members of congress and members of this board.

This board is overwhelmingly Pro Israel, which is pretty discouraging.

Israeli lobbyists target and capture both Democrats and Republicans equally. Apartheid is neither a conservative or liberal value, but it is really amazing how conservatives blindly support it.

The only explanation is widespread ignorance - which is quite obviously the problem. It is incredibly refreshing to see elected officials standing against what Israel has become - because it is not what our country stands for. Seeing our President overwhelmingly stand with other countries AGAINST American elected officials is a disgraceful, disgusting thing.

It is sad to see what we are becoming. Even more sad to see so much wide-spread ignorance and idealism.

Lieu is the jackass who when questioning Mueller asked him if the only reason he(Mueller) didn't charge Trump was because of the OLC statement that you can't charge a sitting President.

He is the sole reason Mueller had to walk back his testimony after the morning session before the afternoon session began.

Also a combined 89 Senators and Representatives have duel US and Israeli citizenship. That statistic is not well publicized. There are links within that article to other websites corroborating that statistic.
89 of our Senators and Congress hold dual citizenship citizenship with Israel

ALL of which are Democrats, with the exception of one Republican and a couple of Independants. Interesting.

I understand the historical context of the land they control, but why is their a BDS movement some of our Congressional members support? Also why is the EU backing groups that support BDS?

Just trying to better understand all of the Israel hate. If it's too long for a post, then I'd appreciate a well explained link to read. Thanks!

BDS (Boycott Divest Sanction) is non-violent resistance to support Palestinian human rights. There is an illegal occupation and human crisis going on right now with overwhelming support from our country based on misinformation and misleading leaders (who are all paid well by supporting entities).

BDS is a very effective method of resisting the illegal occupation of the State of Israel. It is not an antisemitic movement, as some will claim. Many Jews speak out in support of BDS.

Israel is an apartheid state, and very far from the Democracy they claim to be. Our elected leaders are all well paid by pro-Israel supporters, and effectively try to convince us Americans otherwise.
