Cersei will use them to take Dorne off the chessboard, the Lannister army will take out the Tryells.
Which will force Dany to go after KL on the ground. I figure about the time that gets good the WW breech The Wall

Balerion's skull should have been way larger than they what they showed. He lived to be 224 years old and dragons don't stop growing. His shadow was said to be so large when he was flying it would cover up entire towns. Meanwhile Drogon is only 5 years old and his skull is probably close to that size. I rather they left the skull unnamed.
Qyburn's weapon is going to be hard to use. Dragons have really hard scales and are flying. I was hoping for some weird crazy weapon when he told Tarly they were working on something.

Not just take them off the board, but Cersei could promise Dorne to basically any noble down there. The Martells are all gone, and I can't imagine anyone has a particular allegiance to Ellaria fricking Sand.

Was hoping Yara and Theon both would get wacked last night to wrap up that storyline.

Maybe they have Tarly side with Cersei in an effort to save his house and by doing that, his house gets destroyed, but that sucks. How many times are we going to see the "evil man and house get their comeuppance" storyline? I remember thinking during the Horn Hill dinner scene last year "there's no way he's just a POS, he's gonna do something awesome." I think there is more to his character than the same 1-note bullshite we saw/are seeing with Ramsey and Euron

Perspective / distance would make his shadow much larger (also legends typically exaggerate) and as someone else posted Drogon's skull is nowhere near that size. The skull was probably close to 10' tall lying flat - which is huge.

How long did Aegon sit at Dragonstone before he attacked?

His family lived there for a hundred years before the Doom. So he was born there.

Tyrion is diplomatic… I can't wait to see Jon school her next episode.

Great catch. I have been hoping to see the thousands of "spears" Dorne can put in the field but I was worried that the writers would take an opportunity to take them all out in a simplifying/contracting the story move. Of course, we still may never see them.

This is a scale of dragons in media. The biggest is Balerion...The Black Dread. The second biggest are Vision, Drogon and Rhaegal

Arianne and Quentyn don't exist in the show to the best of my knowledge.

GRRM said this was an accurate depiction of his size. And this was 90 or so years before he died. The skull looks to be about this size which it shouldn't be because Balerion grew quite a bit in 90 years.

There was no way to defeat Aegon with a dragon that big
