I've thought of all these complaints, basically there teleporting, etc.
I'm ok with it at this point. The show is entertaining. Let's be honest, the last two books were not particularly entertaining. DwD was particularly a complete slog to me.
I'm ok with the show ramping things up and getting things going, and suffering some logical inconsistencies for the sake of not getting stuck in the knot that GRRM is stuck in.

Is it too early to discuss the next episode, or are we still wanting to bitch about the lack of ghost and how predictable the battle turned out?
Out of all of the discussion about the preview, I'm most curious about what's going to happen to the red titty witch.

shot well and it was great, but I was waiting for a "holy f" moment and never got it
They gave us exactly what we wanted! How can you not be satisfied??
Because there was no twist/shock value. That has been the calling card of the penultimate episodes in the series. The episode was great, but to me wasn't a top 5 episode in the series

Red Wedding 2
Tower of Joy
Kings Landing burning
White raven
Red woman
Dany and company on a boat
Alot to cover before curtains this year.

she seems like a pretty pointless character right now
I wouldn't be surprised if she killed herself
she has served her purpose

was there any shock or twist in Blackwater?

Still has to meet Arya tho.
Unless the show just goes all 'Lost' and ignores that conversation from before.

That may happen sooner rather than later, too. The Stark family reunion, part 2 is looming with Bran, Benjen and Meera presumably headed back to The Wall and Arya "going home." We're down to 1 Dire Wolf, but it's the best one.
Did I miss Ghost at the battle completely?

Tyrion napalming the bay.
Tywin with the Tyrells.
Stannis leaving the red witch behind.
Cersei nearly poisoning Tommen and nearly killing sansa.
The Hound defecting.
Tyrion getting betrayed by the Kingsguard and getting saved by pod.
Davos losing his sons.
Probably other shite too that I can't remember. Regardless, there were characters involved doing things, not just an elongated scene from The 300.

oh come on
that battle was wonderfully shot and not anything near as overly stylized as The 300

Don't you talk about 300 like that.

Okay, technically there are 2 - but on the show, Arya doesn't even have wolf dreams.
It is as if the show doesn't even remember Nymeria, wouldn't you agree?

I'm pretty certain Nymeria and Arya will unite again on the show

Dany getting her boats
Yara and Theon pledging and renouncing their old ways
Masters getting put in their place
Davos and Tormund showing true allegiance to Jon
Rickon dying
Jon almost dying under the weight of all the people
Wun wun dying and being the last giant
Sansa showing that she isn't a little girl anymore
LF is now at Winterfell
Starks take Winterfell back
Ramsay is dead by his own hounds

Wouldn't surprise me the slightest bit if Nymeria is never heard from again.

i'm hoping the show has a little time to breathe now and sort out the political situation in the north but that may be a next season deal...or maybe not since the zombies are coming
