Where was Ghost?

I was really hoping for Ghost to maul Ramsay to death at the end, but I think his own dogs eating him was even more satisfying.

I'm just now going through the thread. I got a late start on the episode and now I'm not going to he able to sleep since I'm so jacked up. Feel like I just sucked down a 2 liter of Mountain Dew. What. An. Episode.

This should get best directing, best cast, best cinematography, how about choreography?

Yes, yes, yes, and no in my opinion. Vikings still has the GOAT battle choreography.

I just thought that Sansa wasn't sure he was coming. She was back at camp and the Vale rode in.

I think Davos is gonna have Mel sent away, and she is gonna wind up back with the brotherhood, who are headed North. Arya will be getting in the North and she will meet back up with the Brotherhood as they are walking to Winterfell. A big happy, short-lasting reunion as the Wall starts crumbling down

But the fact that Sansa didn't tell Jon about the Knights of the Vale was pretty frustrating. Why not tell him to wait for them unless she was planning to outmaneuver Jon himself? Seems like that will be the underlining plot next season between Sansa and Jon.

I keep seeing this but how could Sansa be sure LF would come? Honest question. Is he going to send her a text saying "Got ur letter. Omw."

If Sansa marries Littlefinger, does he become Warden. . .or is it still Bran?

More than William Wallace in the big Braveheart battle or Maximus in Gladiator, he literally killed like a dozen dudes without anyone coming close to getting a shot in on him, then charged the best archer we've seen in the show that he hadn't slept with.

Didn't Jon's army dig trenches so that cavalry couldn't ride up from behind them?

Maybe the trenches slowed the Knights of the Vale down and made them arrive later than anticipated...

Any guesses to the Bran scene next week? It almost has to be ToJ right- I mean that's one hell of a cliff hanger to end the season on for the Hodors.

This is definitely the best episode of the season. I was screaming "zig zag" but Rickon kept running straight. Ramsey had the military understanding of a seasoned campaigner his management of his forces was truly impressive. He understood how to surround Jon in the fog of war. The rescuing army trope is played out. Please don't do it again.

Sansa is a Sith and despite how cool wielding two light sabers can be I can't root for one. She is a Tully so hate is in her DNA. She could some a number of lives by telling the truth but the girl is devious. Jon should watch his back around her. Davos has watched Melisandre do some pretty demented stuff so he should put his grief in check and stay focused on the long game. Mel maybe needed in the future.

Tyrion makes a convincing advisor. I thought Dany would go full Aerys but she restrained herself. The dragons were awesome. Did I say the dragons were awesome? I'm so looking forward to next Sunday but then comes the long winter before the next episode.

I don't think Sansa completely trusted that LF showing up. LF lost her trust after marriaging her to Tamsey. I think she didn't want to get Jon's hope up only to be let down by LF not showing up.

This may be a stupid question. I get the dragons are CGI, but how do they kill all the horses without actually killing horses?

Jon was well on his way to doing that, until he saw Rickon get killed feet from him.

He had no other option at that point. He was already in range of the Bolton army's arrows.

I think it's pretty obvious the others will force everyone to KL where Danny and the dragons will meet them. That's where the great battle will take place

I think you're right. Cersei will only burn down the Sept of Baelor with wild fire. The rest will be used to burn the Night King & the army of the dead.

Question:

Who were the Orange and Black looking banners it showed when Jon was back with David before Ramsey cut Rickon loose?

I'm not even sure what the symbol, sygil, whatever was since I haven't rewatched yet.

Amazing episode, probably my favorite of the series and right up there with my favorite episodes of Breaking Bad.

My one and only wish for the finale is to see Frankenmountain cut that bitch Septa Unella in half. Anything else is gravy.
