Has anyone thought that Sansa with holding the Vale info from Jon was because she didn't expect Jon to survive the battle. Her face went from joy (watching the Vale come in) to a look of almost concern when it showed her seeing Jon race up the hill after Ramsey.

The concern was about Ramsey fleeing or about JON killing Ramsey without her
Yall are reading too much into this Sansa JON stuff. Not enough time for all that stark betrayal

Do we know for certain she actually knew Littlefinger was coming? We know she wrote him, but did she receive a response and kept the info from him or was she just hoping he would show up?
I mean telling him you wrote LF but dont know if hes gonna show is almost worse than not telling him at all.

GOT S6:E9 "Battle of The Bastards" - Reader Thread - NO Leak Spoilers.
Amazing episode, probably my favorite of the series and right up there with my favorite episodes of Breaking Bad.
My one and only wish for the finale is to see Frankenmountain cut that bitch Septa Unella in half. Anything else is gravy.
Man, I knew it wouldn't happen but I kind of wanted to see Mountain v Wun Wun so we could laugh as a "giant" zombie matches up with a real giant and gets his head flicked off.

My thoughts, as well. There's no way she could be sure he was coming...especially after how their last interaction went with her telling him, "I never want to see you again."
LF will be all over Sansa next week though. He trying to get in them fire pants.

My thoughts were that, if Jon has the possibility of LF coming in the back of his mind, that might change his gameplan. The if he doesnt show you're REALLY fricked. At that point telling him with no assurance is possibility a bad thing.
Sansa is all up in LF's head. People overanalyzing his moves need to realize this isnt like his normal scheming. He had a plan, but it's been turned upside down and he sees too much of his love Cat in Sansa. He also never expected her to become so strong and independent and basically tell him to get fricked.

Did anyone else like how they put a few extra arrows in Rickon to shut people up?

I mean, they showed him stone cold dead at the end long after the battle ended and Jon talked about burying him. Either way its clear he's dead

I felt like they were sending a message with that arrow to the head

Jon's a great fighter, but he needs to leave the battle tactics to Davos or Sansa.

The crypt scene will be interesting-- "huh what's this weird scroll in Aunt Lyana's handwriting" ......[fade to black, see you in Spring 2017]

The cinematography in this episode was absolutely ridiculous. Beautiful, masterful shots.
10/10 episode. Easily in the top 3-5 of the series.

Incredible television. It was an epic episode for tv. I am tired of people just stumbling upon shite on the ground in Mereen an Westeros; but who gives a frick when the episode was this good.
RIP Wun Wun
And frick RAMSEY!
ETA When Jon was hitting him; it brought me back to Rocky and I was shadow punching along with him!!

That and the claustrophobia of the body pile were amazingly visceral. Jon wading through the arrows was basically the audience-- nothing was stopping him/us at that point.

So....are we getting ToJ resolution this season or not, I mean I almost think they're saving that for Martin but damnit we've waited a decade plus, we need our payoff and our confirmation of the Azhor Azhai, the one true king being R+L = J

You know damn well they're going to cock tease us. Ned will probably walk in and see Lyanna with a baby, or two, and they'll fade to black.

I will say that it's unrealistic for a man to survive that many clean punches to the face. IRL, people are regularly killed or permanently brain damaged in street and bar fights with one good clean ungloved punch to the face. A full grown man sitting on you and having his full weight behind every punch is going to absolutely kill you after several good shots.
