Can I just say how awesome this shot was?

Honestly, Miguel Sapochnik must have calls from Hollywood executives all over after this episode. May be the most well directed episode of any show I've ever seen. Just expertly crafted and he deserves a big round of applause for how good this episode ended up.

they really wanted to do it right the first dog would have got a finger ot two. They kept showing the bloody fingers. Then another dog gets the other hand. A lick of the face blood. Then a bite of the crotch for Theon. Then the face bite and whatever is next.

Your imagination of what happened is pretty close to mine so the director did his job well. I like that they led us in that direction with the licking and showing his fingers...we all got to finish him off however we imagined and they took us there perfectly.

Bran, who is headed back South, says hello. New Lord of Winterfell. He probably won't be able to have any heirs

Throughout history, if a family was powerful but had no male heirs, a condition of marriage was for the daughter's husband to take HER name. Thus the name continued.

Perhaps John left him at the Wall.

Just be thankful he wasn't around this week or he would probably be dead.

And the battle is almost overshadowing the 3 dragons finally wrecking shite.

Notice the 2 dragons were smaller than Drogon.

How did Dany end up with part of the fleet? Did the other ships just quit when they saw the fire?

They were since birth, plus the time underground didn't help their growth.

The episode was great from start to finish. From the very first sentence it was enthralling.

My point. It was neat to see the differences after so much talk about how being underground would affect them.

Pretty sure the rest of the fleet was more than willing to surrender when they saw those first few ship getting blasted from the air by dragons flying in formation.

Very predictable but well made action episode. I would give it a B+.

The two dragons were definitely smaller than Drogon due to their captivity. The book actually mentions this at some point. I can't remember if they were talking about Danys dragons or dragons in the past but they establish that captivity stunts their growth, which is a real life thing too.
