When Jon and Sansa argued the night before about not having enough men, shoe could have easily said something about the Mockingbird. I agree.

I'm not gonna get too twisted about it though.

LF doesn't believe in "fables" and won't until the NK is at his doorstep (literally). Then his plans will be ruined and won't matter anymore.

TV has to do shite like that. I was expecting the Vale army to ride in the whole time. It was still awesome though.

Bran would have to get there first.

I think Sansa wanted the satisfaction of being responsible for the win, not Jon being a myth-style leader. She still sees him as a bastard.

Yep. His plans are damned regardless. This is why I think Tyrion will ultimately beat him in the end, because he'll believe it, unlike LF.

Possibly, but her strategy got a large percentage of the men loyal to her butchered. If LF betrayed her again he easily could have taken the North

But who is Sansa loyal to? I don't know if she gives a shite about anybody anymore. She wants her house back and doesn't GAF who has to die for her to get it.

Seems like that will be the underlining plot next season between Sansa and Jon.

If he kills Mel in episode 10, that would be Jon 2 Hot Redheads 0, and wouldn't bode well for Sansa.

I can't remember the last time I smiled for so long after an episode.

The Giantsbane-Tarth line will take up residence in the once-Dreadfort.

The Last Hearth would be more fitting for them as it's so far up North. (Kind of dangerous in the upcoming winter though).

With the Karstarks maybe they can bring Alys Karstark in. Like she's been pro-stark but that little twit Karstark guy insisted on going Bolton. Not sure who they could match her with though.

He still did, somewhat. Sansa asked him where Ramsey was. It appeared Jon had him placed in there and let Sansa do her thing.

Yes, in that moment Jon lost all his empathy and wanted nothing more than to bash his head in, but then he saw Sansa and realized this shouldn't be a death by Jon's hands, it's Sansa's.

Also overshadowed but funny moment with Yara "I'm down for pretty much anything."

Great nod to Victarion from the books.

Tormund being confounded by long words in this episode was hilarious. His bug eye expression is just so funny.

Also him eating out Smalljon's jugular was

This. He may be playing the game but all bets are off when you have an army of undead breathing down your neck.

Also Tyrion from the beginning reigning in Danny's bloodthirst and explaining why the city was ok was great.
