I would have agreed till Ramsay put a bolt in Rickon right in front of him. Jon wanted a part of him and would have bashed his brains in had Sansa not shown up. IMO, he only stopped because he knew it meant more to her.

I'd be remiss to let this thread get any further without mentioning Lady Mormont and that snarl she had towards Ramsey. She is awesome.

Excellent fricken' episode. The battle scenes were awesome. And Jon has turned into one fighting motherfricker. He must have taken down a couple of dozen men just on his own. And Tormund doing a Mike Tyson on Umber's ear was pretty great. And Ramsey's end was satisfying.
I'm thankful that we made it through this episode just losing Wun Wun and Rickon as (semi) major good guy characters. I really was worried about Davos and Tormund.
Sure, the Sansa keeping quiet about the Vale army and Jon charging in after the Rickon incident even though the plan was to lure the Bolton's in was kind of frustrating. But to be honest it wasn't really out of character for either of them so I don't have a major problem with those development.
If LF's plan is to pit Jon against Sansa, I'm not that worried about it. I don't think Jon's major motivating factor is being Lord of Winterfell anyway. He wants to save the realm.
The one think I really hope doesn't happen is if it were to turn out that LF is somehow allied with the Night's King and tries to throw a wrench into preparations for the battle against the WW's.

God! What an amazing episode! That battle sequence was fricking epic and Sansa is turning into a bad bitch. Was a little more sad when the giant died than I was when Rickon got shot though. But definitely one of the better episodes of this season I would say.
