Possibly, but her strategy got a large percentage of the men loyal to her butchered. If LF betrayed her again he easily could have taken the North.

I was pissed going into this episode. What they did to the Umbers was criminal.
But that episode was so epic, I'm willing to let it slide under the vale of "the show is a different story than the books". Hopefully GRRM gives us a proper GNC.
But the fact that Sansa didn't tell Jon about the Knights of the Vale was pretty frustrating. Why not tell him to wait for them unless she was planning to outmaneuver Jon himself? Seems like that will be the underlining plot next season between Sansa and Jon.
