So if this does happen...who is it that causes the sword to burn?

But Jon probably won't want the throne and there's no way Dany will let him have it if he did.

E9 & 10 were flawless this season.

This is kind of cheesy sounding when I type it out, but I'm thinking what could happen is Mel rides south and sees Arya in the Riverlands. She takes Arya with her back north to get into Jon's good graces and he executes her (since he said he would if she returned). She said she could help him in the Great War to come, after all.

Robert did one. I think it was someone of House Florentine, although I'm drawing a blank.

Florent. Delena, Edric's mother, during Stannis' wedding party.

That really was not the best decision that Robert ever made.

Rhaegar probably had the Kingsgaurd protecting Lyanna and Jon becuase he was convinced Jon was the PTWP rather than him being the heir.

This is almost certainly true. Rhaegar kind of knew the Targaryens had lost the battle of the present. He was fighting the battle for the future.

Arya is still the character I have the least idea on where her story is going. I don't think she kills Cersei, and I see no value that Arya could have back in the North. The only thing I'm fairly certain of is she won't have a happy ending.

I think Arya will die towards the end of the series. I think Sansa, Jon, and Bran survive.

I definitely think Bran will have to rebuild that wall.. along with Sam's help..

Going back to the battle of the bastards.... What ever happened to that big friggin bow and arrow Wun Wun had at the attack on the wall? It seems like he could have mowed down countless soldiers by himself without ever being scratched... I know, I know, it wasn't in the script.. But those were some of the coolest scenes at the wall..

I don't think there is a wall at the end of the series.

I understand why people are interested to find out Jon's real name, but does it really make much of a difference (other than being interesting to know)?

So you're saying his sword will turn into Light Bringer after executing the Lord of Light's priestess?

Speaking of Lightbringer...where is Dawn? With the Dayne's in Starfall? Taken somewhere else? Did they zoom in on it for no reason when Ned leaned it against dying Lyanna's bed? I don't think we've seen the last of that sword.

Ned returned it to House Dayne as a sign of respect. And the theory for zooming in on it is that it fulfills the prophecy of being "born under a bleeding star" since the sword was bloody and supposedly made from a fallng star.

Well somebody needs to go get it, lol. That thing is awesome. Do we know what it is made out of? Is it even valaryian steel? Pale as milkglass.

"Its origins are lost to legend, but it seems likely that the Daynes have carried it for thousands of years.[1] It is said to be made from metal forged from the heart of a fallen star.[2] The blade is as pale as milkglass, looking like no Valyrian blade, yet sharing all of the properties, being incredibly strong and sharp.[3][1] Unlike other houses who have ancestral swords, House Dayne does not pass its sword from lord to lord. Only a knight of House Dayne who is worthy can wield it.[1] The name of the Daynes' castle, Starfall, and their arms, featuring a white sword and falling star, both reference Dawn.

The last known user of the sword was Ser Arthur Dayne, who died at the Tower of Joy. After the fight, Eddard Stark rode to Starfall to deliver Dawn to Arthur's sister, Ashara Dayne."

It's made out of a meteorite or "fallen star".
