Come on man. Mountain doesn't have to die. Tyrion doesn't have to get across the sea. Baylon doesn't have to die next episode or even on screen. Stone heart is going to be 1 min of screen time.

next week we will get:
Bran getting to the tree
Hound injured asking for mercy
Arya boards a ship
Tyrion escape/Tywin Death
Jon and Mance
Stannis saves the day
and some Dany shite(probably imprisoning the dragons after they eat a kid).
there will be no problem wrapping this up
Bran getting to the tree
Hound injured asking for mercy
Arya boards a ship
Tyrion escape/Tywin Death
Jon and Mance

Maybe not

Tyrion doesn't have to get across the sea.
They need to set it up heavily, since I highly doubt that the first episode of the next season doesn't have him in Pentos.

Baylon doesn't have to die next episode or even on screen
He should have been gone at the end of Season 3, but I don't see how they can delay it any longer. Maybe the Season 5 premiere, but that's it.

I'm thinking at least 3 or 4 minutes to be done effectively.
If this finale is to be done well, it's clearly got to be longer than an hour.

quote:not really vital for this season
Mountain dying
quote:shouldn't take too long, could just see the cavalry route the Wildings and them yell Stannis!
Stannis defeating the Wildings
quote:not needed this season
Jon being electing Lord Commander
quote:could take some time
The Hound "dying"
quote:boarding a ship shouldn't take too long
Arya going to Braavos
quote:vital chunk of the episode
Jaime releasing Tyrion
Tyrion killing Tywin
quote:might just have him talk about boarding a ship
Tyrion going across the Narrow Sea
quote:could take some time
Bran meeting the Children of the Forest
quote:might not happen this season
Balon Greyjoy dying (surely to god he has to die next episode)
quote:might be the very last scene, very quick scene for a cliffhanger

Mountain dying
Will take like a 30 second convo with Cersei to Qyburn, can even be done at the beginning of season 5
quote:
Stannis defeating the Wildings
I mean that is clearly going to happen next episode
quote:
Jon being electing Lord Commander
Will almost certainly be a multi-episode storyline that happens in season 5
quote:
The Hound "dying"
Arya going to Braavos
I'll link these two together, The Hound dying was always going to happen in the last episode, and Arya going to Braavos will just be her getting on a ship, they may not even specify where she is going until next season
quote:
Jaime releasing Tyrion
Tyrion killing Tywin
Again combine these, this was certainly always going to be the last episode, surely you knew that?
quote:
Bran meeting the Children of the Forest
Could be saved for season 5, have to stretch that story out a little bit
quote:
Balon Greyjoy dying (surely to god he has to die next episode)
I think the Kingsmoot will be at the beginning of season 5, and that could be too

Stoneheart
Was always going to be the last episode
Seriously man, your complaints are pretty weak

I enjoyed this episode. Nothing about it pissed me off, I was happy with Ygritte's death.
Hopefully all those minutes they shorted us on over the past weeks will be used next episode.

I'm gonna be livid if Dany gets more than 3-4 minutes next week.

Jesus...You're being an overdramatic, whiny bitch.
Go back and watch some of the early episodes of season 2 and season 3. They had some rough ones in there. Outside of Tyrion and Melisandre's demon baby, the first half of season 2 was pretty underwhelming.

and Tyrion should have killed Tywin in this episode.
If you seriously thought Tywin was going to die tonight that was your own malfunction. This episode was clearly going to be a wall only episode the entire season. Not sure where your expectation otherwise came from.

Yep, season 2 clearly has the worst episodes of the series. There are multiple in there that are pretty meh. Blackwater was outstanding, but outside of the Tywin-Arya interactions much of season 2 was pretty meh, particularly the beginning.

Tywin shitting himself was the perfect end to Episode 9 (right after "STANNIS! STANNIS!" which the show clearly missed). Seriously how great would it have been if Jon Snow looks up at Stannis' banners', Tyrion loads the crossbow and walks into Tywin's shitter, kills him, and then the credits roll? The next episode starts with Varys asking Tyrion if if found what he was looking for. Tyrion's direct quote, "Well let us just say that in the end that Lord Tywin Lannister did not shite gold."

and then spends 40 minutes with bran wondering around the tree? i mean come on dude. there was nothing wrong with the pacing for this episode and what it covered

It was pretty underwhelmed by the episode as well. Sure they had some cool moments - the giant shooting the bow and blowing that guy about 5o yards through the air and the hammer to the head for two.
But for me it just lacked the heart or the soul of the same event from the book. Or of the series this far for that matter. The Ygritte death scene was so cliche it was almost painful to watch. And it seems like they killed off Pip and Grenn for no better reason than they failed to develop any other characters whose deaths would have any impact. and Gilley was so whiney it was aggravating.
I did think Maester Aemon was money though.

If you want to know how much this episode failed, I did not realize they killed off Pip and Grenn.
so because you were to wasted to pay attention to the episode, it sucked in your opinion. got it.
