what part of the battle do you cut out to squeeze stannis and jon treating with mance??
needed ygritte's death
needed jon to take control at the top of the wall
needed someone to secure the gate
had to get rid of janos and thorne somehow so jon would be alpha
great development of sam's character

I'm sorry, but it's just bullshite Stannis didn't appear here, and Tyrion should have killed Tywin in this episode. There was so much stupid filler here. Why couldn't both have happened, and then it could have been the single best episode of the series?
Because neither of those would have time to do justice to them and then you would be bitching about that. You are bitching just to have something to bitch about.

Make some part where Jon is charging the Wildings to his death, and then Stannis comes in. I think it's incredibly simple. Same way Tyrion got half his face sliced off.

I mean it wasn't the greatest episode, but damn. It wasn't even close to the worst.

Did anyone else think that Thorne was a badass tonight? He took on Thurmond and his giant member; I thought he looked every part a leader tonight. Had some great dialog also.

Well, think about next week and the ridiculous amount of shite we have to deal with:
Mountain dying
Stannis defeating the Wildings
Jon being electing Lord Commander
The Hound "dying"
Arya going to Braavos
Jaime releasing Tyrion
Tyrion killing Tywin
Tyrion going across the Narrow Sea
Bran meeting the Children of the Forest
Balon Greyjoy dying (surely to god he has to die next episode)
Stoneheart
That's a hell of a lot of things to happen in the next episode, not to mention I'm sure they'll try to do some bullshite method in putting Dany in the story. This episode would have benefited from less bullshite filler.

All that and we saw Dany in the preview

Im about to watch it, but decided to read reactions on here. I think I'm glad stannis doesnt shown up in the episode, or else it seems like Blackwater ending just repeated.

I don't know why you're shocked that a whole episode, the 9th episode, was dedicated to a singular event. They've been doing that for awhile now.
If you want to blame anything, I can't see where you blame this episode. Maybe previous episodes with the Grey Worm and Missiandre stuff. But not this one.

Done. My bad.

That would make for a great episode.
Everything else could wait for next season; and some of those will.

She was in the preview right?

Seriously, name a worse episode than this? This episode was the biggest let down since the Phantom Menace.
Posted on 6/8/14 at 9:52 pm to OMLandshark
And now you're just being melodramatic. It was far from a bad episode or the worst episode.
