Only if you're not capable of separating the books from the show. As a "obsessive fantasy book reading fig" I enjoy it quite a bit.
I'm anxious to see Dany's trip to the House of the Undying. She's been too busy doing a whole lot of nothing but bitching about her stolen dragons. She needs something redeeming at this point.

You're not one of the annoying ones. And it's not just TD either. Other entertainment boards have the same problem w/ book readers lurking on the no-spoilers threads and popping in to wreck the fun/speculative convos.
Agree we need to see inside the House of the Undying. Talked about for too long.

That, and comments I read online by obsessive fantasy book reading figs makes me think that watching GoT is a lot less fun after having read the books.
Maybe so. Watching the show last season and then reading the books was cool. They are great books, but knowing what is coming and the answer to every twist or subterfuge definitely "ruins" the show as far as spoilers.

funny you say that because I thought I had walked into the men's restroom at the Hard Rock casino last night, but I forgot about the hand washing area being unisex.

I was under the assumption that the guy who cut Tyrion was the guy who Joffrey told to "represent the king on the battlefield" right before he retreated back indoors.
I don't know his name, but wasn't it the same guy who Tyrion got into it with for slapping Sansa around ? (even though Joffrey told him to do so)

He was, but we don't know for sure if Joffrey gave him the order to kill Tyrion. Someone else could have, or he could have done it on his own.

I assumed that was the mountain for some reason. The guy who was told to represent the king but your theory makes more sense.
What ever happened to the mountain?

Oh ok, I didn't even think about Joffrey ordering him to do that but that would seem about right for the little sack of shite
I was really hoping Joffrey would at least take an arrow to the knee during the battle

The shame of him cowering away from battle was more gratifying than a minor injury. Hell get his. And I want it to be as humiliating as possible.

Idk I don't think they've ever really talked about him since he left that tournament for when Ned became hand of the king
