The Stark boy sees other things though, if I am not mistaken. I assumed all of them see things like he does so perhaps they do not all come to pass. Obviously the Stark kid can no longer climb trees and chase 3 eyed crows.

I'm wondering what the whole 3 eyes on the crow is all about. We've got them going to the wall where 'the crows' are, and Jorjen or whatever seeing the vision of Snow on the other side of the wall, and this episode was him climbing, and Bran was/is always climbing. And that eagle is always looking in on Jon, wondering what three eyes could symbolize.

The three-eyed bird is Bran, dammit!

The third eye represents his magic sight. Don't you people listen to New Agey song lyrics? Third eye always represents magic sight or some shite.

I dunno if I'm comfortable taking it too far, if only because crows and ravens seem to be so prevalent in Westeros, particularly insofar as they signify message carriers. I found it interesting in the GoT universe that ravens were used as message carriers as opposed to some of the more common winged critters (i.e., pigeons or owls in the vein of Harry Potter). Anyway, their ubiquity throughout the realm could mean they're simply a familiar symbol to individuals of Westeros, which could in turn suggest that the real point of emphasis is not the bird itself but the number of eyes it has. What could that signify? Or, if we accept crows/ravens as messengers, what is particularly symbolic about a 3-eyed messenger?

Apologies if that's unclear -- I'm just spinning out thoughts as they come to me and not doing much internal editing.

ETA: Or, you know, what PowerTool said

It was nice to see him back to his dick ways though...I miss that Joffrey, even if we did only see him for like 5 seconds. shite, it's weird that it seems like he's never on screen anymore.

Yeah, I was saying after last week that I was getting ambivalent about someone killing Joffrey. Whelp, that's over with!

Loved the chaos is a ladder scene with Littlefinger and Varys. That shite was Charlie Murphy. Cool seeing the two of them not beat around the bush at all with eachother.

Chaos is a Ladder video

Also, during that speech I became convinced that Littlefinger is in fact 5th Element villian Zorg...

Zorg Scene...amiright?!

So, looks like the Baratheon bastard is coming into significance a lot sooner than I was thinking he would. I was thinking that the brotherhood group would be a bit more principled than they are turning out to be for some reason. Just shows that everyone is working an angle.

You know Arya is a badass if she freaked out a witch who gives birth to shadow assassins. Beastmode.

I didn't really think about it at the time, but Brienne all dolled up at dinner was pretty damn funny. I'm kind of worried for old girl being left alone with the Bolton camp.

I didn't get the impression that Cersei ratted out Joffrey to Tyrion about the murder attempt. Was that just Tyrion working it out on his own that if his sis ordered the hit it would have been more discreet?

I'm glad I was on the grandma Tyrell bus early so I get a good seat. No worries though, there is plenty of standing room for you late comers. Sword swallower is now going to be a permanent addition to my vocab, and for that I thank her.

Glad that the redhead wildling accepts Jon's twisted loyalties, should help him do whatever he thinks is right when there is the impending crow clash.

Also really enjoying Theon's prolonged torture. I'm with the folks saying its Bolton's son. I really don't see how it can be in doubt. The Bolton sigil is the "flayed man" and someone is, in fact, flaying Theon and starting with his finger. No happy ending unless sis busts down the castle walls...Theon fricked.

Ok, back to the Greyjoys...so are they still warring with the rest of the North? They should be, right? Doubt they just quit with the rebellion, so its possible Theon could be saved, but I doubt it.

So Robb is going to the Freys, groveling, and in return getting the men he needs to sack Casterly Rock, correck? Kind of a bum deal about his uncle having to marry one of the Frey dogs, but he definitely owes Robb. I get the feeling that doofus uncle is going to continue to cause Robb and the North problems...if he didn't take the marriage hit for the team I wouldn't have been surprised to see him end up with the Fredo treatment.

I thought it was a great episode. Looking forward to getting back to the dragons and would like to see what ended up happening with Vary's old tormentor that he caught a few episodes back.

That was my impression. Her silence seemed to confirm his suspicion. She may not have even known when the brat ordered the hit; after all she seemed pretty convinced during the Battle of Blackwater that they was all getting raped/killed/raped.

The "Chaos is a Ladder" speech was great. It's been a long time since I've sat in a classroom debating the Noble Lie, but that seemed to sum it up pretty well. Which makes me wonder which parts of the official mythology are lies? Did they merely exaggerate the number of men that Aegon Targaryen slew or is there a bigger lie about how he really united the 7 kingdoms?

When the Red Woman said "brown eyes, blue eyes green eyes" I think she just meant Arya is going to kill a lot of people, because brown, blue, and green are all the main eye colors. I took that to mean Arya will kill many different types of people, no one specific.

I believe all the lannisters have blonde hair and blue eyes. Not sure who would have the green eyes but didn't ned figure out the baratheons all have black hair brown eyes when he was tryin to figure out why Jon Arryn was killed?

Also I watched again last night wih subtitles But still couldn't figure out what Thoros said when the red witch said valar morgulus. He responded with valar draeges or something like that. Have those words been mentioned yet?

Yes. He said valar dohaeris.

It was the name of the first episode this season and means "all men must serve"

Glad I saw you mention that last week. It helps immensely. I missed the whole "chaos is a ladder" part Sunday night, but caught it yesterday.
